Removed the lower front panel, disconnected the hose and replaced it with the new one, then replace the panel. The most dificult part was getting my old self on the floor and unscrewing the panel nuts.

This Fuel Cap is an OEM approved replacement part. This part is compatible with many forced air kerosene heaters made before 2014, for full compatibility, please see "Model Cross Reference List" below. This part is designed to keep fuel in the tank. If your heater is leaking around the cap, or if your cap has cracked, it may be time to replace the fuel cap. The cap is made out of black plastic, is 3" in diameter and 1.5" tall. This part is sourced directly from Pro Temp and is an OEM approved replacement part for certain Kerosene/Diesel Forced Air Heaters manufactured by Pro Temp, Heat Hog, Heat Stream, and Master. For full compatibility, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. The filter is responsible for preventing dust and debris from entering and damaging the motor assembly. These filters must be changed with regular use; we recommend replacing them every 6 months to 1 year, depending on the frequency of use. If your heater begins to perform poorly, it likely is time to change the filters. Kits are sold individually, and each kit contains the intake, output, and lint filters.

Heating Element

This is an OEM heating element for use with ventilation fans and ceiling heaters. Some units allow you to turn the heating function on or off. They are most commonly found in bathrooms to help heat the room. For this repair, you will start by removing the fan cover, disconnect the wire, and remove the nuts. You will then be able to pull the heating element fan housing out, remove the screws, and remove the heating element. The installation of the new part is conducted in the reverse order.

Foot with wheels on my oil/electric heater was broken
U-bolt held on broken foot bracket. Removed the one nut that was holding the old foot on and replaced it with the new foot bracket (which includes the wheels), and fastened it on with u-bolt and nut. Couldn't be simpler -- don't know why I waited so long to fix it.

This burner tile is made of ceramic and tends to wear out over time due to the extreme heat it is exposed to. If your Burner Tile is damaged, cracked, or discolored, it needs to be replaced. The burner tile is sold individually and has dimensions of 6.5"L x 4"W x 1"T.
