Call Centre Human Resources Manager

We are an ecommerce market leader for replacement parts in the USA and Canada. Reporting to our Organizational Human Resource Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for the daily HR activities for our call center location in Truro, NS.

As our Call Centre Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Respond to employees, calls and electronic inquires in a friendly and helpful manner. Take initiative to handle things within scope/ability; appropriately seek assistance or redirect issues outside of scope/ability by bringing forward questions and concerns to the Organizational HR Manager as appropriate.

Advertising Analyst

Internet Advertising Analyst - SEM, PPC, Marketing

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the largest and most complex online advertising campaigns in Canada. This full-time position is entry level and requires no prior PPC (or even marketing) experience - training is provided.

Duties

As an Advertising Analyst, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring and management of our AdWords / Bing Ads accounts. By gathering data and using analytics, you will be responsible for creating and testing your own unique ideas and strategies to improve the overall quality and success of our advertising campaigns. The systems we work with are constantly evolving so our own strategies have to be continuously refined through experimentation.

Skills

  • Attention to detail and an ability to analyze trends.
  • Smart, dedicated and hard-working. We are team players. We like to have fun, but we also set the standard pretty high.
  • Excellent organizational skills. There are multiple variables affecting every decision and result in our advertising campaigns. Be prepared to keep track of all of them.

Data Analyst

Fix.com is looking for a Data Analyst to expand our reporting capabilities

The successful candidate will have both technical and business analyst skills, they will use these skills to expand and improve the reporting capabilities of our growing business.

They will work with multiple stakeholders to collect, analyze, and report on key performance metrics for Fix.com and other business units.

To succeed at this position the candidate must be able to methodically approach a problem where they will gather requirements, retrieve data, then aggregate and analyze the data, produce reports and verify that they are accurate and meet business requirements.

Primary Duties

  • Capturing business requirements for reports
  • Perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data
  • Designing and writing SQL queries to gather data

Dev-Ops / Systems Support Specialist

Fix.com is looking for a Dev-Ops / Systems Support Specialist to help build our fast growing team

Our Dev-Ops / Systems Support position will perform two key duties. They will work closely with our development team to deploy our internal and external builds of our ecommerce sites. They will also work with our systems groups on a wide range of end user technical support problems (both complex and simple systems issues) as they arise. The ideal candidate will be an organized and detail oriented problem solver who can work in a fast paced environment with many stakeholders.

Duties

  • Server and desktop support duties for our internal team for the day-to-day operations of employees (PC support, server maintenance and troubleshooting)
  • Will be responsible for deployment of our web sites to test and production environments
  • As part of the development team implement process to improve the building and deployment of releases
  • Develop scripts and processes to automate internal tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Information technology, networking or equivalent
  • Experience with supporting end users in a system administration or related role

Fix.com is looking for a .Net Developer to work on one of the largest ecommerce websites in Atlantic Canada

The .Net Developer will join our development team to develop the backend ASP.NET and C# code that powers our ecommerce web sites. The ideal candidate will need both communication and analytical skills to work with the team to effectively design and document new features and components.

Duties

  • As part of the core development team, implement new web applications in ASP.NET / C#
  • Maintaining and updating existing systems for our ecommerce web sites
  • Optimizing Fix.com's ecommerce system and other web applications
  • Work with our Front End developers to create HTML / CSS / JavaScript for our web sites

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 3 years experience in ASP.NET web development

Fix.com is looking for a Database Administrator to work on one of the largest ecommerce websites in Atlantic Canada

Our Database Administrator position is a key part of our development team, working to develop new database features and functionality for our ecommerce sites. The ideal candidate will be an organized detail oriented problem solver who can understand the complexities of enterprise ecommerce databases.

Duties

  • As part of the development team implement tools and processes to correct data issues, design, implement and test solutions
  • Interface with our team to support the day-to-day operations of our call centers, vendors and distribution centers
  • Perform data analysis on our database systems to update and improve the quality of data in our data store
  • Interpret data results, identify risks and areas for improvement then work with the team to implement the solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a DBA in a similar environment
  • 1-3 years experience writing SQL for relational databases

Senior System Administrator

Manage and build the systems of the largest ecommerce websites in Atlantic Canada

Fix.com is growing and is currently looking for a System Administrator to manage its Windows-based network. This position is located in our office in the Burnside area of Dartmouth, NS (sorry no telecommuting).

Fix.com and its sister sites are the market leader for replacement parts ecommerce in the USA and Canada. We run several multinational ecommerce sites, created entirely in-house by our development team.

The System Administrator will maintain our server infrastructure, recommend improvements, procure equipment, and manage the day-to-day IT needs of our Dartmouth office and Halifax co-location facility. In addition, the Administrator will work on long-term projects to improve our systems architecture, increase security, and handle our continued growth in user demand.

Duties

  • Design, install and manage Windows servers in our data centre (located in HRM)
  • Architect, implement, and manage systems to ensure high availability for our ecommerce websites
  • Monitor all servers and network gear and manage the development and installation of monitoring systems
  • Support the Application Development team
  • Develop and administer security policies and procedures
  • Manage user authentication and security on the network
  • Engage with 3rd party vendors on product support issues and escalation procedures
