The purpose of the vent tube is to allow air in to the fuel tank so that a vacuum is not created when the fuel is being fed through the fuel line. Most of the time the Vent line is connected to a fuel line grommet that is installed on the fuel tank. The fuel return line and the fuel line are also connected to the fuel line grommet. The other way a fuel tank is vented in other engines is by use of a fuel cap with a air vent built into it.

Fix Number
FIX16723234
Manufacturer Part Number
A203120
This forward control cable, compatible with various tiller models, enables forward movement when pulled by the user, engaging the forward gear. Measuring 1440mm (approximately 57 inches) in length, this control cable is equipped with a protective sheath to guard against external damage. It is an OEM part and is sold independently, without any additional securing hardware or parts. If your tiller control cable displays extensive wear, fraying, corrosion, or fails to engage the tiller correctly, it is essential to replace it promptly for optimal tiller functionality. To replace the control cable, you will need a wrench and/or screwdriver. Begin by turning off the tiller and locating the control cable near the handle. Disengage it by unscrewing and disconnecting it from the handle. Follow the cable to the engine transmission, typically held on a clip, and disconnect it. Install the new cable to the tiller handle and the engine transmission, ensuring it engages the transmission when pulled from the handle, and then test for functionality.

Manufacturer Part Number
17672-Z0H-003
This is a genuinely sourced fuel filter for a small engine, sold individually. This is an in-tank fuel filter that serves to filter out debris that could potentially be delivered to the engine. Over time it will get clogged, and this will prevent fuel from getting to the engine, hindering its performance. The fuel filter should be inspected once a year or every one-hundred hours. To inspect or replace the fuel filter, start by ensuring the oil filter cap is securely in place. Take off the fuel tank cap, drain the fuel, pull out the old fuel filter through the fuel filler neck (hooking the black fuel tube with wire/paper clip). If the fuel filter is excessively dirty, it will need to be replaced.
