How do you take this unit apart? I can't get into it to even think about replacing any parts.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. Use the following instructions to disassemble your heater: Remove screws from both sides securing the heater handle and remove it. Unthread screws from the bottom and sides of the appliance. Remove the back shield. Remove the screws on the top inside of the heater. Remove screws from both sides to dislocate the side panels. Remove the side panel. We hope this information helps!
