This is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from Mr Heater. This fuel control knob is commonly used on heaters to determine the flow of fuel into the heater. It controls the basic functions of the heater, such as turning it on, or turning up and down the heat. This red knob is made out of plastic and it has a 12.5mm shaft base. It is easy to install, you simply remove old knob by pulling it off of the shaft, and then you simply secure the new knob onto the shaft. This knob is sold individually.

Add convection to heater by installing a cover with fan motor

Removing the 4 screws on the cover was the easy part! Once the screws are removed, you will need to push upward as the cover is clipped in. Installing the new cover with fan is tricky since-First, you need to make sure you don't sever any wires when installing the new cover. The main trick though is you have to position the cover in place immediately high in place and push straight downward as it should clip back into place.
