The pilot lights and burns fine. But when the burner comes on the pilot goes off. can you tell me what may cause this. i have replaced the thermocouple.
For model number MHBF30LPT
Hello Wayne, thank you for the question. Normally, your pilot light should be burning bright blue. If it begins to burn a different color (particularly yellow), then something is forcing the flame to burn inefficiently. Your thermocouple will sense this and shut off the gas valve to your pilot light. We would suggest replacing the Pilot Assembly, part number FIX10369270. If you require assistance placing an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
