Chrome Drip Bowl - 8 inch
★★★★★

1 Review
Fix Number FIX11750107
Manufacturer Part Number WPW10196405
This chrome drip bowl is an OEM approved replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Drip bowls are a part for your cooktop, positioned underneath the burner to catch spills. This drip bowl fits under 8-inch burner elements and has a diameter of approximately 10-inches. It is common for the manufacturer to switch up designs, so it may not match your current part, however searching using the correct model number will ensure proper fit and function. Drips bowls are prone to wear and tear and can be a fire hazard if not replaced when needed. It is also a quick, easy, and cheap way to give your appliance a fresh new look. Each drip bowl is sold individually, so if you are interested in replacing your other drips bowls, they need to be ordered separately. This is also an opportune time to inspect the terminals for corrosion or damage, and the condition of the burner. No tools are required for installation, simply line up the hole on the bowl with the terminal block and drop it into place. Give your new drip bowl a regular cleaning with warm water and soap to help it last as long as possible.

Elements heat sporatically
I followed the steps in the instructions which were very easy, once the electric power was turned off to the range. I replaced 2 burner plug in blocks in less than 30 minutes. I am embarrassed to say that these burners have not been functional for almost 3 years. I thought that I could not work with electric. Just make sure you have the tools on hand and read the instructions first. I am a mid-50's female, if I can do this so can anyone else! Read more...

Fix Number FIX11749737
Manufacturer Part Number WPW10181986
This genuine OEM part is a replacement sensor for your oven. The sensor works with the control board to measure and regulate the temperature in your oven. If the sensor has become defective, the temperature in the oven can fluctuate and read inaccurately. Other symptoms you may experience are little to no heat, or the oven getting too hot. The displayed temperature and the actual temperature can be off by over 50 degrees if the sensor is not working properly. You can use a multimeter to test if the oven sensor is faulty, and if so, it should be replaced. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range before beginning this repair.

Flat Style Oven Igniter
Fix Number FIX387058
Manufacturer Part Number 786324
This is an authentic OEM replacement part.?This flat style over igniter is commonly used in ranges and wall ovens. This igniter is specifically used to ignite the broil element. The igniter pulls current from the ignition circuit, the more current it pulls the hotter the element gets. When it starts to glow and it reaches a certain temperature the gas valve will open and this igniter will create the spark needed to light the gas. When you are installing this replacement part you will need to reuse the original mounting bracket, and you will need a screwdriver. This ignitor is approximately 7.5 inches in length, it is flat in style, it has a 5-1/4-inch ceramic block, and it features 12-inch wire leads. Be careful not to touch the black element as it is very fragile. Before starting this repair make sure you have shut off the gas supply and unplugged the appliance.
Fixes these symptoms
  • Element will not heat
  • Gas igniter glows, but will not light
  • Little to no heat when baking

Oven took a long time to preheat
Replaced the "bake igniter." Removed the old one by first removing the door oven (instructions in the owners manual), then the heat shields at bottom of oven, and then removed the three screws holding the bracket surrounding the igniter. Had to remove metal back of the range (very easy - five or six screws) to access the wire nuts connecting the igniter. Connected new igniter using the same wire nuts, re-taped the wire nuts, and reinstalled everything in reverse order of above. Had it not been for the difficult position of the range, (basically positioned as a "built-in) the time to complete would be about 20 minutes. Read more...
