For this simple repair, no tools are necessary. Open the dishwasher door and remove the bottom rack. The gasket is located right along the bottom of the door, molded inside the channel. It is held in place in the groove across the bottom. Remove the old gasket by pulling it out with your hands. Take your new silicone gasket and line it up so the notch fits into the groove and slide it in place until it is secure. Reinstall the lower dishrack. We recommend leaving the door closed for a few hours to ensure the gasket is sealed tightly.
