This OEM door mullion spring is found in French door style refrigerators, and is used to apply tension between components in the fridge doors. The spring engages and retracts the door flap, which allows the door to close properly. To replace this part, you will need a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the old spring from the mullion, and insert the new one in its place. A sign you should have this part replaced is if the door does not close properly due to the door flap swinging freely.

Installation Instructions

Chuck from FALLSTON, MD
LEFT SIDE DOOR FLAP WOULD NOT TURN IN WHEN CLOSING
Step 1: Opened up beer and drank a couple times.
Step 2: Put in spring at top end and tried to insert into bottom end. That did not work so I finished my beer and opened up another one! Put spring in at bottom, then inserted into top and it went it perfectly. Closed door and it closed properly. Drank some beer and opened and close door praising myself for fixing it myself. Could not believe that I paid more for the shipping than the part itself!

This is a factory-certified oven sensor kit with two harness adapters. Its purpose is to sense the temperature inside the oven. Replacing this part can fix an oven that is not reaching the proper temperature (too hot or not hot enough), not heating evenly, or an oven that will not start. To access this part, you will need access to the back of the range. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the access panel. Once the access panel is removed, you will notice a hole on the right side of the oven where the temperature sensor comes out of the oven. You will need to unplug the wire harness, and then open the oven door, locate it in the upper left corner, and remove the screws holding the temperature sensor in place. Pull the sensor out of the back of the oven, and replace it with your new part.

This genuine OEM part is a radiant flame sensor for your gas dryer. It is used to determine when the temperature of the igniter is hot enough to ignite the gas. Once the igniter is hot enough, it allows the valve to open to release the gas. This acts as a safety mechanism which prevents dangerous levels of gas from building up. If your dryer will not start, is not producing enough heat, not heating up at all, is taking too long to dry laundry, or is shutting off too soon, you may need to replace the radiant flame sensor. Please be sure to disconnect the power and gas supply to your dryer before beginning this repair.

Cost was $114.00 to replace all parts , It took longer to take apart & test everything than it did to do the repair ! I tested all parts twice , everything would test fine , I put it all back together and the dryer worked for 5 minutes , did that twice and decided to order all the parts an be done with it . Ordered the parts , that showed up at my door in 2 days !!! Turned OFF gas , took off vent hose , took back off with 8 screws , popped up top in the front , took 2 screws off the top in the back removing the brackets , Inside the front under the top removed 2 screws holding on the front , lifted the front and removed . All parts only have 1 or 2 screws holding them in place , removed 1 part at a time , removing and replacing 1 wire from old part to the new part so I did not mix up the wires , replace the part and go to the next part . It was pretty self explanatory replacing the parts , It took 20 minutes to take apart , replace the parts and put back together so my loving wife could do laundry again. You don't realize what a inconvenience it is to go without a dryer for 3 days when you have had one for 37 yrs ..... THANK YOU , 3 days can seem like forever when someone is not happy , but it was much much better than waiting 7 to 10 days for the wrong parts from somewhere else . You have the BEST parts website that I have EVER used !!! THANK YOU AGAIN , Donald Read more...

Includes the insulators and restring already attached. This dryer heating element produces heat to dry clothes in a dryer and is located in the rear end. If the heater element is burned, dryer does not heat or over heats, or clothes take too long to dry, then replacing this part could solve your problem. The tools needed for this repair project are: Phillips screwdriver, putty knife, needle nose pliers. To repair, first remove the main top of dryer and remove ground strap at the rear. If your gas range is not lighting or coming up to temperature, there may be an issue with the igniter. The igniter is used to create a spark that lights the gas, and if it is glowing but will not light then the igniter will need to be replaced. This part is an authentic OEM replacement oven igniter for your gas range. The part comes with a metallic mounting bracket, and a dual wire lead that is 7-inches in length. Before beginning this repair, please be sure to disconnect both the power and gas supply to your range.

Oven was taking twice as long to preheat.
I first removed the oven door by opening it slightly and lifting it straight up. This gives you easier access to inside the oven. Remove the inside grates and bottom of oven floor- (2 tabs in back slide toward you then lift up).Carefully slide oven away from the wall. Disturb the gas line as little as possible. Unplug the appliance. Now you have access to the igniter (inside of oven), and the igniter plug (behind the oven). I then removed 2 hex nut bolts (5/16") on igniter bracket, unplugged the igniter- (back of oven), and fished the wires back through the oven wall. For installation of the new igniter, reverse this procedure. Note that the hole in the back of the oven where the wires run through has heat resistant cotton-like material to help seal that hole. This is where I used the needle nose pliers to shift that material around. Read more...

Dryer would squeek loudly
Removed door, and front bezel. Write the colors of the wires next to the door switch and the moisture sensor on the bezel so that you can remove the wires, this makes it easier. Lifted top up and pulled drum out, but did not remove belt. Inspected wheels and roller shaft. Needed to replace (2) Roller Wheels, (1) Roller Shaft, (2) Retaining Rings, & (2) Shaft Washers. Ordered parts from the site. Removed the Retaining rings. The retaining ring tool I bought from the hardware store did not fit the holes in the retaining ring, so I had to file the tips down. Once the retaining rings are removed, the washers and rollers come off easily. The Roller Shaft can be removed by loosening the nut on the back side of the shaft. Inserted new shaft and tightened nut, then replaced both rollers, and washers, and reinstalled the Retaining rings. Put drum back in place, tied all wires back in and reinstalled front bezel and door. Read more...
