This idler pulley assembly includes the pulley wheel and bracket, and is located near the motor in compatible dryer models. It maintains tension on the dryer belt, allowing the drum to rotate smoothly during cycles. Over time, wear on the pulley or its bearings can cause squeaking, grinding, or belt misalignment. If left unchecked, this can prevent the drum from turning altogether. To replace, disconnect power, access the pulley by disassembling the dryer, remove the old assembly, and install the new one. Ensure the belt is properly threaded and tensioned before reassembling the appliance.

This replacement thermostat is designed for use with electric dryers to help regulate and maintain the correct temperature during each drying cycle. A properly working thermostat ensures that the heating element shuts off at the right time, preventing overheating that could damage clothing or, in severe cases, create a fire hazard. If your dryer is not shutting off the heat when it should, this thermostat may be the part you need. Installation requires disconnecting the appliance from its power source for safety, and the thermostat is secured inside the dryer with two screws, which are sold separately.

Designed for front-load washers, this door lock and switch assembly keeps the door securely closed during operation and ensures the washer only runs when latched. It features a four-lead switch and is compatible with several models. Ideal for fixing issues like a door that won’t lock, open, or close, or a washer that won’t start.

Door Lock Latch electronics went bad and did not recognize the door was latched
The only tool needed is a size 2 phillips screw driver. Remove screws in the back of the washer that hold the top lid on. Pull the lid up from the back, pulling up and back to release the tabs in the front. Set the lid aside. Remove the soap dispenser by opening it up all the way, then press the button in the back-center to release the locking tab while pulling the tray forward. It will come all the way out. Set it aside. Remove the screws holding the front control panel in place. Pull the front panel out and up and place it on the top of the washer (no need to remove the wires..just turn it 180 degrees and lay it on the top of the machine). The screws holding the front of the washer in place will now be exposed. Remove those screws and pull the front foward, providing a few inches of access space behind it (do not fully remove the front panel). Open the washer door. Remove the screws holding the door lock latch to the front panel. Reach behind the front panel and remove the door lock latch. Unplug the wiring harnesses. Take the new door lock latch and plug in the wiring harnesses. Place the new door lock latch in place. To do this, there are several checks to ensure it is in the proper alignment. There is an alignment tab that fits into a hole in the front, and a square opening for the door latch itself. Put the alignment tab the alignment tab hole and put the latch through the square latch opening. Line up the screw holes that hold the door lock latch in place. Replace the screws in the door lock latch. Reverse the steps above to reassemble the washer. Read more...
