Replace over the stove microwave. Replace mounting bracket.

Removed old microwave and mounting bracket.Attached the new mounting bracket (plate) to the new microwave, held the microwave (with help) up into final mounting position and marked plate location on wall. Removed bracket from microwave and mounted to wall. Matched slots on back (bottom) of microwave to "tongues" on mounting plate, and tilted microwave into position. Used helper to hold microwave in place while inserting top mounting bolts (2) through cabinet (predrilled holes) into top of microwave. Task complete. Read more...
