Product Description

This is the replacement brass seal for your range or cooktop. It is made of brass and is approximately 1 inch in diameter. This part may also be known as the surface burner orifice holder seal. It prevents gas leaks between the surface burner orifice holder and the surface burner head. The main reason to replace this part is if the old seal is damaged or missing, as gas can leak out. It is important that you unplug the range and shut off the gas supply before beginning this repair. This part is sold individually and is an authentic OEM part.

Flame coming out from bottom of Burner Head
Lifted Burner Cartridge from top off range. Removed bottom pan from cartridge (9 small screws I think). Gently removed Ignition wire terminal end from ignition unite. Removed 2 small screws from ignition unit carefully from existing burner head(BH). Removed 2 screws from fuel/gas tube from existing BH (super easy). Flipped top of cart ridge unit over and by hand turned existing BH unit counter clock wise about 1/4 turn and removed. Put new BH. Put ignition unit in new BH. Put new brass seal on BH. Reverse removal process to completion! Super Easy!
