Fix Number FIX334310
Manufacturer Part Number 279834
Sourced directly from Whirlpool, this kit is designed to fit a variety of Dryers and Washer-Dryer Combos manufactured by Whirlpool, Kenmore, Maytag, Speed Queen, Amana, KitchenAid, Norge, Roper, Crosley, Magic Chef, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Jenn-Air, Hoover, and International. For full compatibility, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. This kit comes with two ignition coils (one three-terminal boost/hold coil, and one two-terminal secondary coil). The primary purpose of the part is to open the gas valve while the dryer is running. This part fixes the following symptoms: No heat or not enough heat, Takes too long to dry, Shuts off too soon, and the Timer not advancing. To test your current parts, watch the burner, and if the igniter glows for a while and then shuts off without the gas igniting, it usually means one of these coils is bad.
