Drive Belt
Fix Number FIX11722115
Manufacturer Part Number 661570V

When this part wears it can cause a thumping noise in your dryer, and that is a typical sign that it needs to be replaced. To access this part, you will need to remove the front panel of your dryer, and the belt will be found looped around the drummer, under the idler pulley wheel, and around the drive pulley. For a successful repair, you will need a pair of needle nose pliers, a Phillips screwdriver, a 1/4-inch nut driver, and a putty knife. The pump belt is located between the motor and pump under the washer, and the drive belt is looped around the drive and motor pulley at the bottom of the machine.
