This chrome drip bowl is an OEM approved replacement part designed for use with various models of electric ranges and cooktops. This drip bowl fits under 6-inch burner elements and has a diameter of approximately 8 inches. It sits under the burner, keeping any drips and spill contained. It is common for this part to become discolored, corroded, or otherwise damaged with time, and will need to be replaced. Each drip bowl is sold individually, so this is a good time to check the other drip bowls on the appliance in case you would like to replace those as well (sold separately). No tools are required for installation, simply line up the hole on the bowl with the terminal block and drop it into place. By routinely cleaning this part, it will help to prolong its life.

Oven controls not working
Replaced touch pad and burner knobs. First off shut the power to the stove. Slowly removed the screws and nuts that attach the touch pad panel to the stove. That includes the screws for the stove top and the screws that hold the knobs to the stove. That's what enables you to pry the top up enough to remove the face plate. The new one was not an exact match but actually a better fit than the original. There was an extra tab on the stainless portion not a problem at all. Make sure to put all the wires back behind the panel and your good to go. Worked the first time. Also make sure you test the touchpad before you button it back up. Burner knobs were straight forward.. On & Off Read more...

This chrome drip bowl is an OEM approved replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Drip bowls are a part for your cooktop, positioned underneath the burner to catch spills. This drip bowl fits under 8-inch burner elements and has a diameter of approximately 10-inches. It is common for the manufacturer to switch up designs, so it may not match your current part, however searching using the correct model number will ensure proper fit and function. Drips bowls are prone to wear and tear and can be a fire hazard if not replaced when needed. It is also a quick, easy, and cheap way to give your appliance a fresh new look. Each drip bowl is sold individually, so if you are interested in replacing your other drips bowls, they need to be ordered separately. This is also an opportune time to inspect the terminals for corrosion or damage, and the condition of the burner. No tools are required for installation, simply line up the hole on the bowl with the terminal block and drop it into place. Give your new drip bowl a regular cleaning with warm water and soap to help it last as long as possible.

The glass panel on the door of your range allows you to see your food as it is being cooked in the oven. If it has become damaged, broken, or so grimy that it is beyond cleaning, it should be replaced. This is a genuine OEM heat resistant panel that measures approximately 10 inches by 20 inches. It is the innermost glass panel on the door and is sold individually. When replacing this panel, please be sure to wear proper protection such as gloves in case any glass breaks. Always be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range and ensure that it is cool to the touch before starting the repair.

The oven bake element burned out
The burnt out element was easy to remove by unscrewing the two screws that hold it in place. The problem was removing the old part. When the old oven element was removed, only the right side connection came out of the oven box with the wire connected. The left side wire was not long enough to extend beyond the insulation and the oven back. That is when the trouble began. I spent three hours trying to get to the wire. I fished for it with a curved tool. Removed the convection fan and heating element but I could not find the wire. I then pulled the oven way from the counter, but it could only move forward about 8 - 10 inches because of the down-draft fan. I had to call in a repairman to retrieve the wire. That took about an hour, and $60, two days later! I was glad that I had the part to fix it, once the connection wire was freed. It had been taped to the back of the oven along with other wires. This is a factory-certified oven sensor kit with two harness adapters. Its purpose is to sense the temperature inside the oven. Replacing this part can fix an oven that is not reaching the proper temperature (too hot or not hot enough), not heating evenly, or an oven that will not start. To access this part, you will need access to the back of the range. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the access panel. Once the access panel is removed, you will notice a hole on the right side of the oven where the temperature sensor comes out of the oven. You will need to unplug the wire harness, and then open the oven door, locate it in the upper left corner, and remove the screws holding the temperature sensor in place. Pull the sensor out of the back of the oven, and replace it with your new part.
