My two dish racks had very bad rust growing where the vinyl cover had deteriorated
I just had to roll out the bottom rack and replace it with the new one. The top rack I had to undo the plastic cap that held the rack on the track and take off the pieces that the water spray came through; three pieces. Then I had to carefully thread the wheels onto the track and put the parts back that I took off. It was very easy. The parts fit perfectly and I have washed my first batch through the dishwasher. No more rust marks on my dishes.

Unable to drain water in washer and leak in dishwasher
Hi, I had a dishwasher and a dryer go out during the same weekend. I ordered both parts about 3 hours apart. We (my husband) and I could not have been more pleased. Both came in the same package and were here in a short amount of time. The parts and shipping totaled about $58.00. We feel that we saved about $1000 that weekend by doing the work ourselves (and not replacing them) and using a very user-friendly website to diagnose the problem and getting the right parts. We will definitely order from this company again. As a matter of fact, I did order a shelf for our refrigerator and had the same outcome- very satisfied with all. Walter and Mary

Took lower stray arm off because of draining issues, put back together and arm melted after starting.
The reviews before mine helped A LOT!! First of all, It has everything to do with making sure that when the arm is installed that it is turned until it clicks/locks in. This is why my arm melted when I put it back together the first time. I read the reviews before I purchased and that was really the only way I knew how to repair the piece. It does not come with instructions.

Stalled Timer, dirty dishes, detergent wasn't dissolving properly.
At first I thought the Timer was bad because it was stalling. The Timer only malfunctioned in High Temp Wash or High Temp Rinse mode. After removing and checking the timer, I determined it was working OK. Someone mentioned that a bad thermostat could cause the Timer to stall, but I wasn't having any problems with hot water temperature. I noticed the detergent wasn't dissolving completely, and the water flowing into the tub sounded weak, so I replaced the water inlet valve. This solved all my problems. Dishes are coming out sparkling clean and the Timer doesn't stall in High Temp mode. I just followed the video on Part Select to make the repair. I didn't pull out the whole dishwasher from the counter and I removed the Lower Door panel in addition to the Kick Plate. Removing the Lower Door Panel provided easier access to the valve. I hope this helps other people troubleshoot their dishwasher. Once again this site saved me a chunk of money.

the spray arm came apart.
Step 1. Remove the stabilizer screws holding the dish washer steady. Keep the screws handy for later re-installation.Step 2. Pull the dish washer out about half way.
Step 3. Lift the insulating blanket and slip it back from the supply tube
Step 4. While applying downward pressure with your hand, fit the mounting nut to the threaded portion protruding though the top of the casing.
Step 5. Hand tighten the nut firmly. Apply GENTLE side to side pressure to make sure the nut is sufficiently tight.
Step 6. Move the insulating blanket back in place and fasten it down with the tape still attached to the blanket or with replace it with new.
Strep 7. Slide the dish washer back in place and secure it with the securing screws removed to allow the dish washer to be moved out to affect the repair. Read more...
