Will this make machine agitate? Does everything but agitate right now

If there is loose play in the transmission bolt does that mean it needs replacing? Opened up underneath to replace the mode shifter, I believe that’s what’s causing the machine to not run its cycles - initially loud whirling when spinning before it stopped performing any cycle or action at all. I noticed the trans bolt seemed to have a little loose play before catching when twisting manually.

We recommend you check the bolt, part number FIX11767490, to see whether it has proper threading. If it has the proper threading but still has a loose play, you may need to replace the motor pulley, part number FIX16619249. We hope this helps!
