The wire screen on the lint filter was all bent out of shape and it would not sit properly in the space.and prevented the door from closing.
I lifted out the old lint filter and dropped the new one in the space provided. What a concept, NO TOOLS REQUIRED! It fit perfectly, thanks for the quick delivery. Read more...

Squeezing, clothes getting stuck.
This is a stacking washer & dryer. The best advice I read was to remove the door. It made the front panel much easier to remove. Removing the upper and lower felt was very easy. I used a sharp chisel to do this. Clothes clips worked great to hold the felts in place while the glue dried. The glides, yes you need 2 of them, just snapped out and back in with no problem. I also ended up replacing the drum bearing which was the cause of the squeezing. You will need a second set of hands to hold the bracket on the back side as the screws go on from the inside. I used an extra dab of grease to hold the grounding ball in place when I installed the bearing as well. Read more...

This ball-and-socket style bearing kit is used in your dryer to support the rear of the drum as it tumbles through the dry cycle. The bearing attaches on the inside of the rear panel of the dryer cabinet. Over time, the bearing or the bushing can wear out, and the ball support can become damaged. If these things happen, your dryer may not tumble, or it will be noisy while operating. If this is the case, you may need to replace these parts. This genuine OEM parts kit includes one bearing, one ball shaft, one ball bearing, one ball bearing retainer, a small tube of high-temperature lubricant, and the installation screws. Completing this repair requires taking the entire drum out of your dryer along with handling greasy parts, so have a rag handy for cleanup. Please ensure that you disconnect the power supply to your appliance before beginning this repair.

The drum support bearing is an authentic OEM replacement part for your dryer. The bearing is used to support the drum and allow it to rotate smoothly and quietly. If your dryer is excessively noisy while tumbling, will not start, will not tumble, or if it is leaving marks on your laundry, you may need to replace the drum support bearing. The bearing is found on the inside of the rear panel of the dryer cabinet, and you will need to remove the drum in order to complete this repair. If your washer drum is not spinning, there may be an issue with your drive belt. The drive belt wraps around the motor pulley and helps the basket to spin. Other signs there are issues with the belt is if there is a burning rubber smell, or the washer is noisy while spinning. The belt is subjected to wear and tear, and over time it may wear out. This is a genuine OEM part that is made of rubber.
