Infinite Burner Switch
★★★★★
★★★★★
(1)
Fix Number FIX1145040
Manufacturer Part Number 316436001
The infinite burner switch is used to control the temperature of the burner element on your stove top. This model is for the larger, eight-inch element. If your burner is not heating up or has uneven temperatures, you should first check with a multimeter to see if the issue is with the element or with the infinite burner switch. If you need to replace the switch, first disconnect the power supply to your range. To change this part, you will need access to the back panel, so you will need to pull the appliance out from the wall. To complete the repair, you will need a pair of needle nose pliers, a number one square head screwdriver, and a Philips screwdriver. The specifications for this genuine OEM part are that the switch is 240-volt, 2100-2600 watt, and 8.8-10.8 amp.

Bake element replacement
1. Turn of over power at the breaker.
2. Remove bake element cover. There's 2 quarter inch nuts.
3. Disconnect old element. For me there was not much play in the wires so when I disconnected the old element I lost the wire in the insulation. If this happened you can remove the central plate cover on the back of the oven and you can easily find the wires again.
4. Connect the replacement element.
5. Screw the bake element cover back in.
6. Turn power back on.

Oven Bake Element
★★★★★
★★★★★
(8)
Fix Number FIX438018
Manufacturer Part Number 316075103
This genuine OEM bake element is located on the bottom of the oven cavity to supply heat for baking. The approximate size is 19-1/2 inches wide by 18-1/2 inches long and has 3-1/2 inch inserts. The element terminals are male quarter inch spade connectors and have push-on wire terminals. If your oven is not heating evenly, the element will not heat, or there is little to no heat when baking, you may need to replace the element. Please remember to disconnect the power to your oven before you start your repair. Next, remove the 2 screws securing the old element, pull it out, and discard. Connect the new element prongs where the old element fit and screw it back in place. This is a very simple repair that anyone can do.

Oven was inconsistent on heat, typically way over-heating
Replacing the oven probe is very straightforward, I tested the old one with a multi-meter after pulling the range out (had to disconnect the gas line and unplug the range...the most difficult part of the repair, lol!) and determined it was bad; purchased the new one from this site. The probe is located in the back of the oven, easy to see once the rear shroud was taken off the range (6 screws), especially having the new one in hand and knowing what to look for. One screw held it in place, and there is a single plug to disconnect. Installation is the reverse of removal. Pushed the range back into place, reconnected the gas line and plugged it in. Repair was perfect. Saved a ton of money, for sure! Read more...
