This is a genuine OEM replacement part for your range that measures approximately 15-1/4 inches long and 18-1/4 inches wide. It is a closed hinged style of element and is 220 volts and 2300 watts. Be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range before beginning this repair.

If the temperature in your oven is inconsistent, or not heating up at all, it may be time to replace the element. This genuine OEM part measures approximately 19 inches long by 19 inches wide, and has push-on male spade terminals. Before beginning any repairs, be sure to disconnect the power to your oven.

This part is located in the bottom of your appliance and is what supplies the heat for cooking and baking. If your oven or range has no heat coming from the element or is not heating evenly, you may need to replace the element. This repair is considered to be of medium difficulty and requires the use of a screwdriver. Other items that may help with your repair are a flashlight, and wooden clothes pins (to prevent the wires from falling back into the oven). This kit comes with two installation screws and the 240 volt bake element, which is a black metal piece approximately 13 inches wide and 16.5 inches in length. Ensure that you unplug the appliance or shut off the circuit breaker before beginning. Removing the oven racks, and even the oven door can help make accessing the bake element easier.
