Product Description

This is a replacement haliant element for your cooktop or range. It is used with flat top ranges, and is found under the glass top of the range. This element is approximately 12 inches in diameter and is sold individually. The haliant surface element supplies the heat needed to the top of the cooktop. If your burner is not lighting up when it is turned on, you may have an issue with the haliant surface element. Be sure to disconnect power to the range before you begin this repair. To replace the element, remove the screws holding the cooktop in place, then remove it. Then, remove the screws holding the burner in place, disconnect the wires and replace the burner. Replace the cooktop and screw it back in to complete the repair.

I turned off power to stove top. took out the 2 screws on front of cook top. raised the cook top and had my wife hold it while I disconnected 4 wires. then popped off the 2 springs that held the element. took element off put new one on connected the 2 springs, connected the 4 wires , closed cook top replaced the 2 screws turned on electr ic and the burner came on. very easy to do, first time I had ever done something like that. I had watched their video on how to do it which made it very easy.
