This ball-and-socket style bearing kit is used in your dryer to support the rear of the drum as it tumbles through the dry cycle. The bearing attaches on the inside of the rear panel of the dryer cabinet. Over time, the bearing or the bushing can wear out, and the ball support can become damaged. If these things happen, your dryer may not tumble, or it will be noisy while operating. If this is the case, you may need to replace these parts. This genuine OEM parts kit includes one bearing, one ball shaft, one ball bearing, one ball bearing retainer, a small tube of high-temperature lubricant, and the installation screws. Completing this repair requires taking the entire drum out of your dryer along with handling greasy parts, so have a rag handy for cleanup. Please ensure that you disconnect the power supply to your appliance before beginning this repair.

This 3-coil 5500 watts heating element with housing is used to produce heat to dry the clothes in your dryer. The heating element is strung with a coiled wired. The wire receives, but resists a controlled electric current causing the wire to heat up to dry your clothes. If there is no heat or it is taking too long to dry, you may need to replace the heating element. Check for a blown thermal fuse or thermal cut off. This is a genuine OEM part. Please remember to disconnect the power to the dryer before starting the repair.

If your dryer has little to no heat, there may be an issue with your heating element assembly. The heater element is a genuine OEM part that is found at the back of the dryer. The heating element comes with a felt strip and insulators already attached. This part is used to provide heat in order to dry your laundry. It does this when the coil of nickel and chrome alloy wires resist the controlled electric current, and as a result the wires get hot. If you need to replace the heating element, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your dryer before beginning this repair.

Squeezing, clothes getting stuck.
This is a stacking washer & dryer. The best advice I read was to remove the door. It made the front panel much easier to remove. Removing the upper and lower felt was very easy. I used a sharp chisel to do this. Clothes clips worked great to hold the felts in place while the glue dried. The glides, yes you need 2 of them, just snapped out and back in with no problem. I also ended up replacing the drum bearing which was the cause of the squeezing. You will need a second set of hands to hold the bracket on the back side as the screws go on from the inside. I used an extra dab of grease to hold the grounding ball in place when I installed the bearing as well. Read more...

Also known as a door gasket or door bellows, this OEM door boot creates a watertight seal between the inner drum and the outer cabinet of your washing machine. It's a crucial part in preventing leaks during wash cycles. If you notice water or soap leaking from the door, or see signs of wear like tearing or looseness around the drum, it's likely time to replace the boot. Installation requires removing the existing clamp with pliers, and this replacement is sold individually. Please note that any required clamps or securing parts must be purchased separately.

Don’t even try it
It’s not hard to remove the bellows but reinstalling is a nightmare. The spring has to be spread so far it is virtually impossible to get on. Installation videos show securing it with clamps, good luck with that. I got it halfway on and it just sprung off allowing my hand to shoot upward into the washer top bracket which by the way is quite sharp on the bottom. Sharp to the extent that it slit the lower knuckle on my right thumb to the bone and now I sit here with a swollen hand and seven stitches. I doubt they will publish this but if they do my recommendation is don’t even try and by the way I am experienced over many years and have never had a problem installing anything except this. This door latch, also known as a door strike, is designed to secure the washer door during operation, helping to prevent leaks and ensure the appliance starts correctly. Made from brushed metal, it features two mounting holes for easy installation with standard screws. If your washing machine door doesn’t close fully or the cycle won’t begin, a worn or damaged latch may be the cause. Replacing it is simple—just remove the old latch by unthreading the screws and install the new one using the existing hardware. Please note that this OEM replacement part is sold individually and does not include mounting screws or additional accessories.
