Blade became warped over time, baffle was falling down
In order to change the blade in a push mower you need to use a 2x4 or equivalent to stop the blade from spinning. I bent the blade back previously by heating it up but I think it was causing too much vibration so I got a new blade after hitting stumps over the years. I run some things into the ground. The spark plug is amazing and really high quality. Its a simple change. The drive belt is also a simple change, any 6 in 1 if you remove the screw heads will have the right nut sizes for most mower parts. Always lube up the belt "like two drops" with a little belt oil and it will last longer. I use diesel oil, 3 n 1, or chain saw bar lube oil. The tensioner for the belt is an easy adjustment. This model is also prone to fuel lines being blocked. Just detach the fuel line, blow it out with your mouth, and reattach. Have had it happen twice in 10 years, some people would be pulling spark plugs, diagnosing the engine, etc, its pretty easy, just put some fuel on the carb to see if your getting fuel blockage. This chainsaw fuel line kit carries fuel from the tank into the carburetor and from the primer bulb to the fuel system. This part is mostly used on gas trimmers and blowers. The fuel lines are made from clear, flexible, and rubber material. In time, this part can begin to deteriorate, which can result in leaks. To prevent this, make sure to replace the fuel line. As a safety precaution, remember to wear work gloves to protect your hands during repair.

If your fuel line has become brittle and started to crack, this is the replacement part you will need. This OEM fuel line, also known as a tank purge line, is made from a flexible translucent rubber and is sold individually. After the primer bulb has been pushed and the carburetor has what it needs, the extra fuel is forced back through the fuel line into the fuel tank. If fuel is leaking during this process, check the fuel line for signs of wear.

This is a single fuel filter found in numerous types of lawn and garden equipment that have small engines. The fuel filter cleans the fuel before making its way to the carburetor, thus preventing build up. If this flow of fuel is blocked, this will cause issues with starting the engine. Luckily, this common maintenance task is very quick and easy to do, and should be done annually, if not more depending on usage. You will start by draining the fuel tank and removing the spark plug.
