Terminal Block Kit This kit comes with the necessary components to replace your burner terminal block. It includes interchangeable mounting brackets, a terminal box, ceramic wire nuts, heat shrink protective tubing, and wires. The purpose of this part is to connect the wire harness to the surface element, which allows for the burners to heat up. Some common issues that result from a damaged terminal block is that your element will not heat properly or not heat up at all, may cause burning smell, or make a buzzing noise. If you remove the element and the tips are black, that is a good sign there is a problem with the terminal block and it should be replaced. It may also be necessary to replace the burner elements as well, if the tips are badly damaged. This repair will require a pair of wire strippers, a #1 square head screwdriver, and a heat gun or hair dryer. If you are not comfortable with cutting, stripping, and reconnecting of wires you should contact a qualified professional to complete this repair. If your oven is not coming up to temperature, the temperature fluctuates, or it is not heating at all, there may be an issue with the bake element and it should be replaced. This part is an authentic OEM part, that measures approximately 15-3/4 inches long and 16-5/8 inches wide. The terminals measure approximately 3 inches long and they are spaced 1-3/4 inches apart. The electrical measurements for this element are 2600 watts and 240 volts. Before beginning this repair, be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range.

Surface Element - 6 Inch This is a genuine OEM 6-inch burner element for your electric range or cooktop. If the element is no longer heating up, it may be time for a replacement. When you remove the old element, inspect the terminals for signs of arcing or corrosion. If these are present, you may also need to replace the terminal block that the element is plugged into. If your oven is not baking properly or at all, the bake element may have burned out. The terminals are male 1/4-inch spade connectors. The wires push onto the heating element connectors. For this straightforward repair, you will need a number two Phillips screwdriver or a number two square head screwdriver, and possibly a pair of needle-nose pliers. Be sure to disconnect the power to the range before you begin troubleshooting or replacing this part.

Broil Element This is an OEM authorized screw-on broil element for a range. It is inside the oven on the top, where it supplies heating for broiling. A few reasons it might be replaced include: no heating coming from the element and uneven heating. Please note that this broil element does not include the mounting bracket. The depth of the screw-on terminals is 2-3/4 inches, and they are 1-1/4 inches apart.
