If your oven is not coming up to temperature, the temperature fluctuates, or it is not heating at all, there may be an issue with the bake element and it should be replaced. This part is an authentic OEM part, that measures approximately 15-3/4 inches long and 16-5/8 inches wide. The terminals measure approximately 3 inches long and they are spaced 1-3/4 inches apart. The electrical measurements for this element are 2600 watts and 240 volts. Before beginning this repair, be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range.

This is an oven bake element for a range, sourced directly from the original manufacturer. It is located at the bottom of the oven, responsible for supplying heat for the baking function. If your oven is not baking properly or at all, the bake element may have burned out. The terminals are male 1/4-inch spade connectors. The wires push onto the heating element connectors. For this straightforward repair, you will need a number two Phillips screwdriver or a number two square head screwdriver, and possibly a pair of needle-nose pliers. If your element is not heating, you can test the element for continuity with a multimeter. If the element doesn’t have continuity you will need to replace the element. If it doesn’t have continuity it is suggested to check the element switch because it could be defective and need to be replaced. This element is 1200 watts and is a genuine OEM part. The manufacturer suggests making sure the cooking element is cooled before starting the repair. Please remember to disconnect the power to the appliance before starting the repair.
