Water Inlet Valve
Fix Number FIX3497634
Manufacturer Part Number W10408179
If the ice maker or water dispenser on your fridge are not working, or there is water leaking, it may be an issue with your water inlet valve. This part is found at the back of your refrigerator and supplies the water to both your ice maker and water dispenser. The materials can be worn out over time with regular use and should be replaced. Another area on the valve to inspect is the solenoids, which can be done with multimeter to check for continuity. This is a genuine OEM part that measures approximately 6.5 inches long by 3 inches wide and is made of plastic and metal. To replace this part, you will need access to the back of your fridge.
