Door Shelf Retainer Bar
Fix Number FIX734935
Manufacturer Part Number 240534901
This is a genuine door shelf retaining bar for a refrigerator. It attaches to the inside of the door on the refrigerator and helps to secure items placed on the shelf. It is made of white plastic and can be easily installed without the use of tools. Start by making sure the projection on the inner door panel fits into the recessed area at the top of the shelf retainer bar. Once they are lined up, press it into place until you hear a snap. This part measures approximately 25-inches wide, 3-inches high, and 5-inches deep. If it breaks, cracks or warps over time, it will need to be replaced. This part is sold as an individual part. Ice maker stopped making ice
Loosened 2 screws on left side freezer wall. Disconnected wire harness. Took out ice maker. Made sure screws extended far enough out to fit the new ice maker over them. Connected the wire harness. Put ice maker onto the 2 screws. Tightened the screws. Within a few hours we had ice. NOTE: use a mirror or you will fish blindly trying to find and tighten the screws. With the mirror, it was easy.

Crisper Cover Support - Front
Fix Number FIX2358880
Manufacturer Part Number 241993101
If opening and closing your refrigerator is difficult, it could be due to a damaged or warped crisper cover front support. This part keeps the crisper shelf in place and mounts to the inside cabinet wall. Sold individually, this part is white in color, measures approximately 1 inch in diameter, and can be used for the front and rear support. The installation of this part is considered easy and should only take a few minutes. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver, putty knife, and soft hammer. Take the crisper and shelf out of the refrigerator first. To remove the old part, start by pushing the locking pin into the interior of the cabinet using the screwdriver, pull the support out with the putty knife. If taking out the pin is difficult, use a flat blade screwdriver to push it down and out of sight, this will not harm your refrigerator. Remove the pin and attach the new support, using a soft hammer to lock the new pin in place.

Light switch no longer worked
Turn off and unplug your refrigerator. I used the screwdriver on the left side of the part (where the plug is) and used the putty knife at the same time on the right side to push the spring lock portion of the part in. The part snapped out. I unplugged the left contact from the plug and put it on the new part, then I unplugged the right contact and put it on the new part. I did this so the wires would not go up into the refrigerator and be hard to find. I put the left side of the new part where the plug and contacts are in first then I snapped the right side in place. I plugged the refrigerator back in and it worked perfectly. Just take your time and gently remove and reconnect the new part. The store where I bought my refrigerator wanted $69.95 for a service call plus an hourly charge and part charge. Count on this site for your parts and do it yourself. I ordered the part on Monday, it was delivered on Tuesday around noon and I made the repair that afternoon.
