This clear convertible meat drawer is for the lower part of the refrigerator. It has an air duct that allows cold air to flow into the drawer from the freezer. It can be used to store meats and vegetables to help preserve them for longer. If the food that is kept inside it is going bad quicker than usual, it could be in need of a replacement. If the drawer is not moving in and out smoothly, check to make sure the tracks that it slides on are in good condition. If they are, the drawer itself may be damaged. Usually damage is visible, so do a quick inspection for cracks or warping.
