This kit comes with the necessary components to replace your burner terminal block. It includes interchangeable mounting brackets, a terminal box, ceramic wire nuts, heat shrink protective tubing, and wires. The purpose of this part is to connect the wire harness to the surface element, which allows for the burners to heat up. Some common issues that result from a damaged terminal block is that your element will not heat properly or not heat up at all, may cause burning smell, or make a buzzing noise. Installatiion was just the opposite. Quickly and easily done (especially with the removal of the oven door for easier access. )
