The drum belt, also known as a drive belt, is a rubber piece that wraps around the dryer drum, idler pulley, and motor pulley and is used to make the drum rotate. If you can hear the motor running, but the drum is not spinning, it may be an issue with the drum belt. Since it is made of rubber, it can become brittle with age causing it to break. Alternatively, it could be stretched out and no longer gripping to the dryer drum. Both of these issues would require you to replace the belt. To do this repair you will need a putty knife to pop open the top and front panel of your dryer, and a Phillip head screwdriver. Be sure to disconnect the power to your appliance before beginning your repair. This drum belt measures 88 and 3/4 inches long by 1/4 inch wide. As it is a genuine OEM part, this size will be compatible with your appliance model.

This ball-and-socket style bearing kit is used in your dryer to support the rear of the drum as it tumbles through the dry cycle. The bearing attaches on the inside of the rear panel of the dryer cabinet. Over time, the bearing or the bushing can wear out, and the ball support can become damaged. If these things happen, your dryer may not tumble, or it will be noisy while operating. If this is the case, you may need to replace these parts. This genuine OEM parts kit includes one bearing, one ball shaft, one ball bearing, one ball bearing retainer, a small tube of high-temperature lubricant, and the installation screws. Completing this repair requires taking the entire drum out of your dryer along with handling greasy parts, so have a rag handy for cleanup. Please ensure that you disconnect the power supply to your appliance before beginning this repair.

If your dryer is noisy while tumbling, you may need to replace the drum glides. This genuine OEM part is found attached to the front panel of your dryer. It is used to reduce friction and allows the drum to rotate smoothly and quietly. Other signs you may need to replace the drum glide are if marks are being left on your laundry, or clothes are getting snagged. The drum glide is made of felt and nylon and includes the adhesive needed to attach the part.

The drum support bearing is an authentic OEM replacement part for your dryer. The bearing is used to support the drum and allow it to rotate smoothly and quietly. If your dryer is excessively noisy while tumbling, will not start, will not tumble, or if it is leaving marks on your laundry, you may need to replace the drum support bearing. The bearing is found on the inside of the rear panel of the dryer cabinet, and you will need to remove the drum in order to complete this repair. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your dryer before you begin.

If your dryer has little to no heat, there may be an issue with your heating element assembly. The heater element is a genuine OEM part that is found at the back of the dryer. The heating element comes with a felt strip and insulators already attached. This part is used to provide heat in order to dry your laundry. It does this when the coil of nickel and chrome alloy wires resist the controlled electric current, and as a result the wires get hot. If you need to replace the heating element, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your dryer before beginning this repair.

M Series Ignition Coil Kit

This coil ignition kit is used in dryers to open the gas valve when the dryer is on. This kit includes two coils. One is a two-wire secondary coil and the other is a three-wire booster coil. If your dryer does not heat or you notice heating inconsistencies, then the gas valve may be damaged and it is best to replace it to solve this problem. To repair, first release the two retaining clips that hold the top panel in place, then remove two screws that retain the front panel of the dryer cabinet. Next, pull the front panel forward and remember to disconnect the door switch. After accessing the gas coils, start removing the wires and unscrew the bracket that holds the coils. Remember to remove both the dual and main coil without removing the spacer. For more information on the kit and repair instructions, refer to diagram for a list of the parts.

Not heating, Not Drying
I opened the dryer with instructions from Youtube, and look for the parts that I thought had the problem: Flame sensor and Ignition Coil Kit. Put dryer back together and turned on, it works like a champ, :-) I requested a repairman from Sears and he told me to just buy a new one, because the part needed cost $459.00, but for some reason it made no sense to me, so I went to this site and put the model number of my dryer and the problem, and they suggested that I replace the flame sensor. The upper felt seal for your dryer is attached to the top edge of the drum support area, and is held there by a high temperature adhesive. It creates a seal where the dryer door opens and closes, so that heat remains in the dryer while it tumbles. If your old upper felt seal is coming apart, you notice that hot air is leaking out the dryer door, or your clothes are taking too long to dry, you may need to replace the seal. When you order this part, it comes with the upper felt seal, as well as the required high-temperature adhesive.
