This part is the replacement pump outlet seal or seal ring for your dishwasher. It is made of black rubber and is sold individually. The seal ring creates a seal between the upper compartment of the pump to the pump body. If the seal ring fails, you won’t have good water pressure, and therefore your dishes won’t come clean properly. Improperly cleaned dishes are a good indicator of a bad seal ring.
