The retainer clip is used to hold the access panel on your dishwasher in place. It is a genuine OEM part that is black in color and sold individually. The only tool required to complete the repair is a flat blade screwdriver. Turn the old clip a quarter turn counterclockwise to remove it, then line up the new clip and give it a quarter turn clockwise to lock it into place.
