Broken dryer belt
This is a space saver one piece unit with dryer on top. I first removed ten screws that hold the top on, I then removed four more screws that hold the front service cover on and two last screws that hold the rear service cover on. Now I seperated the front cover of the dryer from the dryer tumbler tub and slipped the new belt around the tub, then at the rear service cover I feed the belt through the tensioner and back onto the motor pully. Now just put the covers back in reverse order of removal and all done! "Piece of cake"

I was getting brown rust colored marks on my clothes
First of all to all you females out there, I am one and this is easy. It was a stacked washer/dryer and the dryer is gas. I unplugged the power, didn't unhook the gas and left them stacked, not a problem. Next I pushed in the 2 clips at the top with a small screwdriver while at the same time prying up on the top with my chisel, popped the top up and unplugged the wire bundle that's attached to the front panel. A few inches down on the inside of the front panel are 2 screws, I removed those. Then I pried the front panel off - there are 4 clips 2 on each side holding the front panel on. I pulled off the felt strips leaving a bunch of "hair". I read the other repair stories saying they'd wished that they'd used stronger solvent to remove the old glue and "hair" so I used laquer thinner and it worked great. Just saturate your rag and get the old felt and glue really wet and then come back with the chisel and the felt and most of the glue comes off and not the paint. I just kept going back over it with the saturated rag and chisel and it was pretty easy. I then put the glue on the felt strips, attached them, and used a ring of bungee cords to make a clamp around them 'til they dried. Put dryer back together and it works great. Also when you've got it apart - it's a good time to vacuum out the inside of the dryer.

Dryer started putting rust marks on my clothes
THE PROBLEM: Rust marks in the shape of a V started appearing on my clothes. I finally realized that there was gap at the bottom between the drum and the outer frame that was caused by the upper drum support having deteriorated... Clothing would slip into the gap into the area where the metal of the spinning drum was exposed - then spin upward leaving a small rust mark... INSTALLATION: The video of installing this product was spot-on! I removed the old glide and residual glue (the glue was the hardest part), then put the new glide on. After the glue dried enough to hold the felt in place, I put it all back together. So far, no more rust marks on my clothes!

Drum wouldn't turn, snapped drive belt
Removing the top and then the front of the dryer went fairly easily after finding the screws. The drum came out with just a little coaxing, does not gets screwed in place. To me the trickiest maneuver was getting my hand under the drum to place the belt over motor pulley and around the tensioner pulley. You must look up an image of the belt routing. It took me forever to figure that out. If not for that, this in a half hr fix. Ps don't forget to unplug the dryer.

Dryer belt broken
Great service. I got the part in 3 days and having the youtube video was fantastic. I also was able to find other videos also so doing these tasks yourself nowadays is much easier. I was a bit nervous but it turned out to be easy.

Out of country repair needed
This appliance is being used in a third world country with no parts access. I discovered Partselect and easily found the schematic with parts listed. Needed parts were easily identified ordered online and received within 4 days in the US and in time to take on my day later flight outbound. The process was seamless and expeditious. Thank you Partselect!

Drum noise
Disconnected and moved the unit outside, just to clean the lint out of it. Removed the top, then two screws holding the front panel on. Disconnected the two door switch wires. Peeled off the old upper seal and cleaned surface with wire brush. Applied the supplied glue and clamped the new drum guide in place. While it was setting up, I cleaned out the entire inside of the dryer to eliminate the old trapped lint. Replaced the front panel and mounting screws. Reattached the wires and closed the top. Relocated back inside and plugged it in and reconnected the vent tube. Turned it on and it worked perfectly.

Dryer timer knob broke
My dryer's timer knob cracked. It spun in circles but I couldn't press it in or pull it out and start the dryer. Once I got my new knob, I simply pushed it on and it worked! No tools required. It was the easiest repair job I've ever done.
