If you notice a screeching or metal-on-metal noise while your appliance is operating, you may need to replace the front glides. This genuine OEM front glide kit comes with a blue plastic glide, a brown cork pad, and two metallic rivets. We recommend replacing both sets of glides at the same time, which will require the purchase of two kits. To complete this repair, you will need a Philips screwdriver and a 5/16 nut-driver to remove the front panel and the bulkhead of the dryer, a drill with a 1/8-inch bit to remove the old rivets, and a rivet tool to install the new ones. Please ensure that you disconnect the power supply to your dryer before beginning this repair. This is a replacement bearing ring kit for your dryer. The bearing rings are found on the top and bottom lips of the dryer drum. If your dryer is unusually noisy, or the drum will not turn during operation, or if there are marks left on your clothes after a cycle, you may need to replace the bearing ring kit. The kit comes with 2 bearings, one for the top and one for the bottom of the dryer drum. Remove the front panel of your dryer to access the dryer drum for this repair.
