Drum Bearing Slide - White (Sold individually)

It provides support to the front of the drum as it rotates. They are approximately 3-inches long, 1 inch wide and made from a durable white plastic. If your appliance starts making unusual sounds, is not drying clothes properly, or leaves marks on clothes, it may be time to replace this part. The dryer has 2 slides, which we recommend replacing at the same time, as they tend to wear out at the same rate. You will need to order 2 of this part to replace both drum bearing slides, since it is sold individually. Before you begin this repair, be sure to disconnect the power to the dryer.
Drum Bearing Slide - Green (Sold individually)

The slides attach to the inner most slots on the front bearing. As the dryer rotates, the drum bearing slides help to support the front of the drum. If your appliance becomes noisy, is not drying properly, or leaves marks on clothes, it may be time to replace it. If you are replacing one slide, we recommend replacing the other slide at the same time, as they deteriorate at a similar rate. You will need to order 2 of these parts as there are 2 in each dryer. It is approximately 2.6-inches deep, 0.06-inches in height, and 0.5-inches wide. This part is denoted as being green in the title, however users and technicians have noted it is actually gray in color.
Front Drum Bearing

It allows the front of the drum to glide smoothly on the felt seal of the front panel when the drum is rotating. This manufacturer-approved part is made of a durable white plastic and measures approximately 9 inches by 20 inches. If your dryer makes a continuous banging noise while it is powered on, it is likely that the drum bearings need to be replaced. Keep in mind that the drum slides should be replaced at the same and will need to be purchased separately (the front drum bearing holds 4 glides), as this part includes the bearing only.
Front Glide Kit

If you notice a screeching or metal-on-metal noise while your appliance is operating, you may need to replace the front glides. This genuine OEM front glide kit comes with a blue plastic glide, a brown cork pad, and two metallic rivets. We recommend replacing both sets of glides at the same time, which will require the purchase of two kits. To complete this repair, you will need a Philips screwdriver and a 5/16 nut-driver to remove the front panel and the bulkhead of the dryer, a drill with a 1/8-inch bit to remove the old rivets, and a rivet tool to install the new ones. Please ensure that you disconnect the power supply to your dryer before beginning this repair. While you have the appliance opened, we recommend vacuuming out any lint and debris, and inspecting the felt around the bulkhead and replacing if necessary.

Upper Drum Glide

It is used to reduce friction and allows the drum to rotate smoothly and quietly. The drum glide is made of felt and nylon and includes the adhesive needed to attach the part.
Two-Piece Split Ring Bearing

Manufacturer Part Number 279441This is a replacement bearing ring kit for your dryer. The bearing rings are found on the top and bottom lips of the dryer drum. If your dryer is unusually noisy, or the drum will not turn during operation, or if there are marks left on your clothes after a cycle, you may need to replace the bearing ring kit. The kit comes with 2 bearings, one for the top and one for the bottom of the dryer drum. Remove the front panel of your dryer to access the dryer drum for this repair. At this point you can use a pair of needle nose pliers to release the old bearing rings from the drum. Snap the new bearing rings on, and reassemble the dryer to complete your repair.
