This OEM drum support roller kit contains the parts needed to replace one roller on your dryer. This kit includes one drum roller and two bearings. Most dryers use two drum rollers, and it is recommended to change both at once for optimal performance. The drum support roller holds the drum in position while it spins on the support wheels. It rotates on the roller shaft located on the rear bulkhead. It may need to be replaced if your dryer is noisy, will not tumble, leaves marks on clothes, or will not start. This part is prone to wear and tear, and if broken will need to be replaced. This part measures roughly 3 inches in diameter and is made of plastic, metal, and rubber. Each kit is sold individually (two would be needed to replace both drum support rollers, which is recommended).

This drum support roller is sold individually. Most dryers require two. The tri-rings are included. This is a drum support roller for a dryer. It is a genuine replacement part. This part is sold separately. Most dryers require two drum rollers. It is recommended to check and replace both drum support rollers at the same time to ensure proper drum rotation and because they often wear at the same rate. The drum support roller holds the drum in the proper position while it spins on the support wheels. If rollers are worn out, they will cause the dryer to be noisy.

This is a rear drum support roller kit for your dryer. The 2 rollers come with 4 tri-rings, and 1 palnut. We recommend that you replace both rollers at once. This kit stabilizes the drum cylinder, while letting the drum rotate on the support rollers. If you are having problems with your appliance during tumble mode, or if it is too noisy, you will need this kit. To complete this repair you will need a putty knife, Philips screwdriver and a 5/16 nut driver.

If your dryer is making excessive noise, or it will not tumble, there may be an issue with the idler pulley wheel. The idler pulley wheel is attached to the idler bracket and is used to secure the dryer drum belt, which helps the drum to rotate. This genuine OEM part is made of white plastic with a metal center bearing. Over time this part can become worn, which will result in your drum not rotating or screeching noises when it spins. If this happens the idler pulley wheel should be replaced. Before beginning this repair, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your dryer. To complete this job, you will need a Philips screwdriver, a 5/16 nut driver, a pair of Channellock pliers, and a small flat blade screwdriver.

If your dryer is not tumbling, takes a long time to dry, or is noisy while tumbling, it may be time to replace the drum support rollers. These hold the drum in place while it rotates, so if they have become worn it can make for a lot of noise while the machine is operating. This genuine OEM part is sold individually, however your dryer will have two support rollers. As they tend to wear at the same rate, we suggest replacing both at the same time. The tools needed to complete this repair include a putty knife, 5/16 nut driver, and a pair of pliers. Completing this repair requires removing the drum from the dryer to access the support rollers. Be sure to disconnect power to the appliance before beginning this repair.

If your dryer’s taking forever to dry clothes or making strange noises, the blower wheel might be the problem. This white plastic part helps push air through the drum and out the exhaust. It fits Kenmore 471 series dryers and some models from Frigidaire, Crosley, Gibson, and White Westinghouse. It’s a genuine replacement part, and before you start the repair, make sure to unplug your dryer and check that it matches your model.

The roller shaft is also known as a support roller shaft or a drum roller axle. It is a part in your dryer that the drum rollers spin on, helping your dryer to tumble. If your appliance is noisy while operating, or will not tumble at all, you may need to replace the roller shaft. You may also want to inspect the drum rollers at the same time and replace them if necessary. Replacing the roller shaft will require that you remove the front panel and the drum from the dryer. Please ensure that you disconnect the power supply before beginning this project. The tools you will need include a Philips screwdriver, a 5/16-inch nut driver, a pair of snap-ring pliers, and a 9/16-inch wrench. The roller shaft is an authentic OEM part.
