Door Hinge

2 Reviews
Fix Number FIX11744215
Manufacturer Part Number WP74008014
If your oven door is not opening or closing easily, there may be an issue with the door hinge. The hinge uses spring tension to allow the door to stay open at an angle instead of dropping open. This genuine OEM hinge can be used on either the left or righthand side of the door, and measures approximately 20.5 inches long. This part is sold individually, however we recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, as they can wear out a similar rate.

Oven door Hinge was broke...Door would just fall open
Watched the video on the repair you supplied...gave us confidence to make the repair. As easy as the video shows. We went ahead and bought 2 hinges and replaced both sides, since we had it apart...We, however, took the opportunity to take the door completely apart and clean it very good. Went back together easy. The new parts fit perfectly and my oven looks and works like it is brand new..New light bulb was a snap too. So glad I found this company....fast shipping too. Will always look here first in the future. Read more...

This burner electrode, also known as a burner igniter, is a genuine OEM replacement part for your gas range. The igniter on the gas burner was cracked and shorting out, thus it was failing to ignite the burner
In order to replace the igniter, I removed the cooking grate, then the burner cap. Next I removed two screws holding the burner in place. I was then able to lift the burner, and disconnect the electrode wire. Then, by removing one screw on the under side of the burner, I could remove the old igniter and replace it with the new one. I reversed the procedure in order to finish the repair. Read more...

Chrome Drip Bowl - 8 inch
★★★★★
★★★★★
1 Review
Fix Number FIX11750107
Manufacturer Part Number WPW10196405
This chrome drip bowl is an OEM approved replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Drip bowls are a part for your cooktop, positioned underneath the burner to catch spills. This drip bowl fits under 8-inch burner elements and has a diameter of approximately 10-inches. It is common for the manufacturer to switch up designs, so it may not match your current part, however searching using the correct model number will ensure proper fit and function. Drips bowls are prone to wear and tear and can be a fire hazard if not replaced when needed. It is also a quick, easy, and cheap way to give your appliance a fresh new look. Each drip bowl is sold individually, so if you are interested in replacing your other drips bowls, they need to be ordered separately. This is also an opportune time to inspect the terminals for corrosion or damage, and the condition of the burner. No tools are required for installation, simply line up the hole on the bowl with the terminal block and drop it into place. Give your new drip bowl a regular cleaning with warm water and soap to help it last as long as possible.

Burner struck intermintently
Swapping out a burner is simple, once you remove the 2 screws. I used a Torx T15 screwdriver, available from your hardware store. However…be prepared for a stubborn screw or 2. DO NOT force a screw – you can snap off the head. If it won’t loosen, soak it with WD40 or Liquid Wrench. Don’t hurry, it may take a day or 2. You can also apply heat with a soldering iron for a minute or 2. When it begins to move, work it back & forth, like a loose tooth. Once you get one screw out and the other just won’t come, go ahead and snap it off. One screw, plus the stub of the second will suffice to install the new burner. Don’t be discouraged. This is simply to guide you through the worst-case scenario. Read more...
