Agitator not agitating
I had previously disassembled the agitator assembly so all that I needed to do was assemble the repair kit and reassemble the agitator. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Having previously disassembled the parts helped to know how to reassemble the new parts. I did have a moment of frustration trying to get the bolt that holds the assembly together to line up with the agitator shaft. Finally got that solved by holding it in place with the socket wrench before placing the agitator assembly on the shaft. After reassembling the agitator, everything worked great. I figure I saved over $100.00 buying the parts and doing the job myself.

Top half of agitator was not turning with the bottom half.
1. Removed the liquid detergent receptacle from top part of upper half of agitator.

2. Pulled up on the ears of the plastic cap (at the bottom of what's left after removing the liquid receptacle) to expose the nut. Turned nut counter-clockwise with socket set while preventing lower half of agitator from turning.

3.Once nut was totally unscrewed pulled up entire agitator- works out of washing machine, then placed agitator on floor, placed my feet on lower part of agitator while pulling up on upper half of agitator and the 2 sections separated, as well as the small parts of agitator.

4. I remounted the upper half of the agitator to the lower half outside of the washing machine, but it could probably also be done by first installing the lower half of the agitator into the machine and then mounting the upper half onto the lower half.

5. I re-screwed the bolt clock-wise with one hand while preventing the lower half of the agitator from turning.

The top part of the agitator would not rotate correctly
As per the instructions, I pried off the cover and removed the inside piece. Then, using the socket set and extension bar, I loosened the retaining bolt. I lifted the whole upper part of the agitator and removed the inner working (those parts that the kit replaced). I broke off the tabs as instructed.
The instructions mentioned a specific grease (which I didn't have and was not aware of when I ordered the repair kit), but a search on the Internet indicated that many people put the washer back together without the grease.
The new parts are not an exact match for the replaced parts, but it was easy to follow the directions to build the new section. Putting the whole thing together again was easy.

dogs were stripped
Only had to replace the dogs, the remainder of the kit did not fit my washer. It now works like a dream, maybe better than before and since I did it myself I am very proud to have made the repair and did not require a $80+ service call. I pulled off the softener dispenser, used an 11/16" socket, removed the agitator, set it on the floor stood on it and pulled off the top of the agitator, removed the device that holds the dogs, put the new ones in and reassembled. It was super easy!

Upper aggitater would not aggitate
Pulled of the cap and the inner cap to expose the bolt. Use the socket and loosen the bolt. Once the bolt is out take both hands and pull up on the agitator. Then you have access to the inner part. It comes right out. flip the plastic piece over. It will pull right out. Replace the agitator cams and then replace the parts as you took them out.

washer was not agitating clothes
The instructions that came with the repair part explained how to remove and replace the repair part and was easy to understand.
I removed the fabric softner dispenser and cap underneath to access the nut I needed to remove. Using socket, extension and driver the nut was removed, damaged part removed and replacement part (assembled beforehand) was installed and nut replaced. Reinstalled the cap and fabric softner dispenser and we are back in business!

Agitator would not move during wash cycle
According to the included instructions, I removed the cap on the agitator, pulled the sealed inner cap, removed the nut with a long extension ratchet, then pulled the whole agitator out of the machine. I then pulled the top off the agitator, removed the old cap with the worn dogs, assembled the new cap with new dogs, reassembled everything and was back in working condition in less than 15 minutes. I saved probably $50 in repairs over calling a repairman, and whatever the cost of buying a new washer would be. My washer works like new again. I plan to come back for more parts and instruction as my machine needs them. Partselect ROCKS!

top agitator section freely spins in both directions
Followed included instructions by removing mounting bolt and pulling off top agitator. Replaced thrust ring and reinstalled agitator and cams. Then reinstalled bolt, cap and softener dispenser. Easy to repair and now the machine is working properly again. Only thing the kit should include, which it doesnt, is a small tube of agitator lubricant.

Agitator seperated from inside of wash drum
I had to find a point of reference first since item came apart in wash cycle and internal pieces fell out - thank goodness for YOUTUBE. Another guy was thoughtful enough to do a video on how the assembly came apart / went back together - a huge help for sure. Actual repair was less than a half hour after obtaining new part and seeing video. The 12 year old washer works like brand new - saving me close to 1,000 dollar replacement charges.
