The Pump Was Cracked
Simple. Removed two hose clamps, pulled off the hoses, removed the clips that held the pump in place and removed the old pump and then simply did the same thing in reverse to put the new pump in. It was easy and the pump was an exact match.

spin cycle did not activate
Replaced hinge switch. Still no spin cycle. Noticed hinge bearing cracked & if hinge forced into switch, spin activated. Ordered new hinge bearings.Spin cycle still didn't engage. On further examination, observed that hinge was bent. Straightened hinge & worked like a charm. Didn't really need new switch or bearings. NOTE : Avoid having washer door bang shut.Took longer than expected, but each procedure was simple.

Pump was leaking water
After unplugging power and disconnecting water drain hose, I pulled the washer out aprox four feet from the wall and leaned it back against the wall. I then used a lamp at the end of an ext cord to light up below the washer where the water pump was attached and it was easy to remove and replace! I carefully replaced the washer in its original location and reconnected power and drain hose. The job was complete in 15 minutes! Wow!

Water pump leaking
Flip washer on its back, Undo/flip the clips/clamps off the water pump, remove the clamps from the hose and remove hoses from water pump, slide the pump off the direct drive, line up the shaft/drive with the new water pump and slide into position and return the clamps to secure water pump in place and reattach water hoses and clamp to the water pump. There should be two hoses going to the water pump, flip washer back upright and run a cycle to make sure the problem has been fixed

Water leaking from under clothes washer
Isolated problem to front section of washer by elevating and adding water. Once I identified the pump as leaking (it was pretty obvious:>)I used a screwdriver to release the snaps that hold the pump to the drive motor. After sliding the pump off of the drive motor I used the pliers I release the clamps on the two hoses. Next I logged on to Partselest.com and ordered a replacement. The item arrived in two days. I placed the pump on the motor first then connected the hoses. It was much easier to slide the hose clamps to the proper position with the pump held secure on the motor.

The washer was leaking from the water pump underneath the front of the washer.
First, I laid the washer upon its back and removed the two clamps that held the water pump in place.
with wire pliers.
Next I removed the two inlet water hoses from the pump and sat that pump aside. I then placed the new water pump upon the shaft of the washer and secured the two water inlet hoses back on the new pump wth the clamps. I tightened them with the wire pliers slipping the clamp upon the hoses. Lastly , I snapped the two wire clamps that hold the pump in place back in their groves and immediately placed the washer up right .

Water leak in front of the machine.
Removed the four screws from the control housing. Disconnect wire to machine housing. Remove the two clips connecting the machine housing to the back. Remove washing machine housing. Pump is located right in front. Disconnect hoses, remove and replace pump, reconnect hoses. Replace the machine housing. This was the hardest part if all trying to reinstall the housing.Once you get the machine housing in place correctly, put everything back together. You just saved about $125 in fifteen minutes.
