My wife did the repair. Went on your website and watch the video on how to replace the switch and she was able to do it herself. I didn't mind at all. Saved $75.00 service charge.

P;atic latch in in door frame broke.
I removed two screws from the bottom panel, pulled bottom out, and lifted front panel off. Took pliers to back of the old latch to compress the expansion tabs, squeezed and removed. Pushed new one in untill it went through metal backing plate and snapped in place. Replaced the cover and screws. Opened door and took out two screws on the edge and one for the knob. Spread out door halves, used pliers to work out other latch part. Pressed in new part and reassembled. Works great for another twenty years!

Broken washing machine handle and dryer door latch
Repairing both the broken washing machine handle and dryer door latch were extremely easy. The instructions that were sent with the parts I ordered were excellent and easy to understand. I only needed a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. I used the screwdriver to pry out the old broken dryer door latch and simply pushed in the new one. I used the same screwdriver and an adjustable wrench to remove the broken washer handle and replace it with the new one. Thank you PartSelect for all your help. I will recommend you to all my friends!

Handle to open/close washing machine broken
When we tried to remove what was left of the old handle, the nuts were rusted into the screws, so we had to cut them off with a hacksaw. Unfortunately, the new handle came with bolts, but no nuts (which I don't understand), so we had to find some nuts that fit the bolts. Once we did, the installation of the new handle was a breeze.

Dryer door would not close
Sooooooo easy! Ordered the part on-line and it arrived the very next day! Watched the 'how to' video on-line and the fix was a breeze. Bought my Maytag dryer back in 1989 and this is the only problem it's had. For a repair just under $5.00 plus shipping? I'll take it!

Door catch broken.
I pried out the old one slightly and grabbed it with pliers. Quite possibly the metal catch dropped into the door section, but no problem. I pushed the new one into place with the side of the pliers. Probably 3 minutes time.
