No heat in dryer
Checked heater element with multimeter for continuity. Checked good. Internet how to, suggested thermal switch. checked switch with multermeter, checked bad. Ordered switch kit. replaced same. smooth repair. wife was upset because I fixed the old dryer instead of replacing it. I kept a consideral dollar amount in my pocket by repairing the dryer. Purched the pair in 1989.

The Dryer was not drying my clothes.
I unplugged the dryer,removed all 9 1/4 inch screws to remove back panel,used an amp meter with sound to test various sensors, if the meter beeps the part is good, if it doesn't beep is bad. The upper Thermal sensor was bad,I looked up the part. I ordered the Thermal Cut Off Kit, I ordered it friday the part got here the next day, BEST SITE to order parts.I Removed and replaced the part, put the back panel back on and plugged the dryer back in. Bingo, my dryer works like new.:) Thank you. I paid $24 for the part versus the cost of a new dryer.

no heat
after using a meter to determine the thermal cut-off was bad and ordering the part, it only too about ten to fifteen minutes to repair. used a nut driver to remove the bag cover to expose the thermal cut-off. removed the wires and the screws from the parts. screwed the new parts on. replaced the wires. turned the dryer on to make sure it worked (heat came out). replaced the cover. set back in place and it works great

Dryer was not heating
We thought it wiras the heating element and we ordered that part from.you but it did not fix the dryer. So we ordered the thermal kit and little less then 15 min. we had it fixed.

Dryer stopped heating
Removed the back panel and checked each of four thermal connections. The thermostat at the top of the heating element tested bad. I replaced both the top and bottom thermostats. Tested OK. Checked the vent pipe all the way to outside and tested clear. Inside of dryer was clear. Discovered that a visitor did not remember to clean the lint screen before/after each load. We set the dryer now to no more than 30 minutes at a time and ONLY on Medium Heat and it works fine. There is no need ever to use High Heat Setting. I was glad to find Whirlpool-authorized parts. I will never use generics again.

No heat in dryer
Ordered the kit for my dryer. Popped off the front access panel and 4 screws later, dryer works perfectly. 28 dollars plus shipping and fixed. Great OEM parts and fast shipment from Peoria. Recommended.

No heat but dryer runs other wise
there were 5 ,1/4 screws in the back panel . The heater box was right at the rear when the back was removed.. Replaced the two controls that were in the kit with a 1/4 nut driver. Checked the terminals for tightness and contact. No discoloration on contacts. Ran unit after reassembly for 20 min cycle to test ,Put into service

I checked all the thermostats with a OHM meter and found a bad sensor it was pretty simple using U tube as a guide and the parts were here in a day and a half I'm now getting ready to replace the transmission in my GE washer

Dryer Not Heating
Tested old part with ohm meter and found no continuity. Replaced old parts with thermal cut-off kit parts. Dryer heating worked.

Dryer Was Running But With No Heat
I took off the back panel, removed the 2 screws each for the thermostat and cutoff sensor, removed the 2 wires that went to each, screwed in the new parts, reattached the wires, and bingo, the dryer produced heat again. This was my third and final shot at trying to fix this problem as I had already replaced the thermal fuse (was not the issue), and replaced the actual heating coil (apparently wasn't the problem either). However, the dryer is now working better than ever with the new heating coil, drying in about half the time it took before, so I'm glad that was done.

No heat, thermal cut off was cooked big time.
Remove wire terminals, & four screws, install new parts. Very simple fix! This is the second time I've used Parts Select to fix my appliances. Very satisfied customer!
