The handle of the door latch assembly broke
After truning off the power, I removed the inside door panel by unscrewing the 11 screws. Next unplugged the latch assembly from the two electrical connections. Connected the two electrical connection to the new part and reinstalled the inside door panel. The only difficulty was that the first part I ordered did not have a handle as part of the assembly.

Door latch would not click into locked position.
Before starting the job, I looked at the information provided from others who had the same problem and had successfully installed the new part. The information provided was the reason I chose your company to purchase the part. THANK YOU!
1. Turned off power
2. Removed screws holding inside of door.
3. Disconnected and removed old part.
4. Removed dishwasher door handle and attached to new part.
5. Connected new part and positioned it in the handle insert. (Be sure the small bars holding it together are firmly in place.)
6. Reattached the door.
Here is the problem: I did not realize I also needed a new door handle as I assumed it would be attached to the new door latch assembly. My door handle is cracked and some of the plastic has broken away. I will now have to order the new handle and pay the cost of shipping that would have certainly been less if I had ordered it in the first place.

Bottom rack was hitting door when opened
I installed additional wheels that had broken off. This was on my elderly mother's dishwasher in Iowa. I was visiting from California for a week when I discovered it was broken. I worried about getting the parts because I was not familiar with the area. PartSelect saved me by getting the parts delivered before I flew back to California. It was really great. Thanks,

Dishwarsher was making loud almost grinding type noise
I followed the video instructions except I had no idea what tools he was using because he talked so fast, but I figured it out myself. I could not get the guard off but I worked around it. Then I took off the discharge piece. The impeller needed to come off and I unscrewed it but the impeller was stuck tight to the diswasher. It did not slide off like in the video. I ended up having to break up the impeller with pliers until it fell apart enough to take off. That was the only semi difficult part. I replaced impeller. The new screw I ordered did not fit on my machine??? So I used the old one again. I reassembled all and the dishwasher now works good. Still makes a little noise which could be normal. Nothing like it was making.

Broken Wheel PLUS debris in filters
Removed both racks. Replacing upper rack wheels (did all 4 even though only one broke) took about 2 minutes. CLEANING the dishwasher took awhile. Had to unscrew 6-10 screws to remove 2-3 parts. Did cleanup (broken glass/plastic & 2 toothpicks) then put everything back in reverse order. Put both racks back in and tightened the upper retaining clips. This might have looked difficult, but if you have ever used an erector set you will find it quite easy. TIP: The breakdown sketches are a great guide to see what you are going to take apart and where it goes.

The dishwasher door was fitted with a plastic striker. It obviously wasn't meant to last, and eventually broke. This meant that the door would not shut properly, so I couldn't use the dishwasher.
I pulled out the dishwasher a little to expose the screw on the striker, (located on top of the dishwasher. The annoying thing was, it wasn't a regular screw, so unfortunately I had to go out and buy a torx screwdriver (which cost more than the new striker). It would have been so much quicker, and cost effective, if it had been a normal screw. Anyway, I completed the job and pushed the dishwasher back into place.
