dishwasher was leaking at heating element connections
Both heating element brass nuts had a split in them. They had fallen off the heating element and were hanging on the electrical wires. I removed the wires from the heating element and removed the brass nuts from the wires. I then screwed the new nuts on the heating element and reattached the wires. problem solved. I want to thank you for having the parts I needed as Sears had discontinued them for this Kenmore appliance.

dishwasher leaked around the door
My Son used needle nose pliers to remover the old gasket, then starting on the lower right side, inserted the new gasket and used the rounded end of handle of a wooden spoon and pressed the gaste in place by running the handle up and around the top then down the left side. Used sissors to cut the new gasket to length. Door fit very tight. Ran a normal wash cycle and no leaks.

No water during wash cycle, steam only
After checking various forums and advice, the suggested repair was a new water inlet valve. It was easy to change but I wasted $30 as it did not cure the problem. Dishwasher is only 2 years old and is cheaper to replace then have someone come and look at it. So it did not fix the problem, but I recommend Parts Select, the price was fair and part arrived very quickly.

Broken tub rack guide wheels
This is a case of weak OEM design. Substantial (cup) weight placed on the rack will ultimately cause these wheels to break under load stress. My fix went slightly beyond the design by installing 8 cents worth of washers between the wheel and the screw head. That way any slack was reduced so that the wheels were less stressed at an angle. The rack now sits square and the wheels more true than design. I picked up some lock washers at local hardware store and flattened them out to fit smooth. The parts supplied by PartSelect were perfect fits to OEM. This is a truly easy repair. If your top rack keeps falling off the guides due to broken tub wheels this will take care of the problem. I will add that the parts that you can obtain through PartSelect are adequate without improvising. I just went for a more robust fix to the original design with additional washers. Hope this is helpful.

I accidentally broke the door strike off
I pulled out the dishwasher to expose how the strike was attached. Unscrewed the 2 screws and found the part on your site. The part number had been changed. I ordered a new part and tracked with your easy to track delivery info. It arrived in 3 days. I attached my new part with 2 screws, slid the diswasher back in place. I am a happy camper! Thank you, Julia
