Dishwasher leaking from underneath unit
Spotted the source of the leak at the first heating element under the dishwasher. Removed the brass mounting nut and it was cracked. Replaced with new part from PartSelect.com and the leak was fixed. Apparently the heating element gets so hot it tends to crack the mounting nuts, which results in a leak. Delivery time for part said 3-5 days - mine arrived one day after ordered!

No water
Tested main water supply first and it checked out, next thing was the valve got a new one took old one off, flushed the line a few times to get dirty deposited water out, stuck the new inlet valve on and ran the dish washer and it worked, really a pretty easy thing to do anybody can do it and it will save you a couple hundred bucks in the repair mans labor and his cost for parts, deffinetly a must do yourself job. Got my part in two days from when I ordered it.

Dishwaser wouldn't fill completely.
Replaced the fill valve. Turns out that there is a very fine screen in the inlet that was almost totally clogged. Replacing the fill valve fixed the problem, and now the dishwasher works better than ever. Plus, I cleaned the screen, I had to disassemble the valve to do it, and now have a spare part.

water leaking from under the dishwasher
Replaced the water inlet valve by laying on the floor. Being it was at the front left, it was easy to get too. Being a plumber by trade I knew to turn the water off at the valve, and unplug the electrical connection. The new one went on the same way the old one came off, really simple. By the way, the call in order went really great and I got the new one in two days. Thanks again, Fred Lavergne

water inlet valve was leaking
Could not identify the breaker for the dishwasher so I turned off the whole house. Turned off the water supply. Removed the leaking valve fairly easily - the clamp that holds it in place was a little tricky. New valve went on easily & again the clamp was a little harder. It was successful since there have not been any further leaks. Location of the valve & having to lie on floor to do repair was a factor in the ease of installation.

My dishwasher was leaking from and electrical connection at the heating element
There was an excellent "how to" video on the internet which also pointed me to the part I needed. I did not even remove the dishwasher as recommended. I removed the lower kick plate, removed the power connector at the leaking input, removed the bad nut and installed the new nut.
