66213273K112 Kenmore Dishwasher - Instructions

Took longer to open package than to fix. Just had to press the seal back in. Was very pleased how fast the seal came. Thought 60.00 was a lot for a rubber seal but that's cheaper than a new washer.

Pulled out the old gasket; carefully inserted the new one in the flange......tested the seal by washing dishes.....then cut off the littler bit of extra gasket (about an inch) Perfect; I should have been a plumber :)

It took approximately 4 mins. to complete job. First old seal was removed and was replaced with new gasket. Not difficult at all.

Removed old gasket by pulling it out by hand. Attempted to insert new gasket, but it was difficult to get it to seat. Finally, I wetted it with water and a little liquid dishwasher detergent on a sponge, and then it seated easily. (No help from manual.)

Finding the part on the PartSelect web site was easy. The part was delivered the next day, although I only paid the lowest S&H fee.

First off I want to say thank you part select for being on the internet. I called my local appliance repair parts department. They wanted 30 dollars more than what I got it from you guys. Anyway I took the old gasket off, cleaned the area to put the new one on and it just slipped right into place. I think the cleaning took longer than replacing the gasket.

Solution was very simple with the side mounting bracket kit, the only problem was somehow one of the brackets was damaged out of the box . There's a slight off-set on the bracket to allow it to fit properly next to the dishwasher but this one had been flatten out. Had to have happened before going into the shipping box because they were very well protected with bubblewrap. Also, brackets are fairly heavy gage metal so it would have taken some amount of force to do this. Fortunately I was was able to bend it back into a useable shape. It wasn't perfect to look at but because it's mounted behind the side of the dishwasher it didn't matter as long as it worked.

Replaced Door seal

Door gasket was applied with the aid of other users descriptions of the process.

I removed the old door gasket and cleaned the channel that the gasket sits in. Then I marked the center of the gasket and matched it with the center of the channel. The door latch did get in the way so I had to have another set of hand to get it started. It pretty much went in by hand just by pushing it. There was extra gasket on either side of the bottom of the door. I trimmed to make it fit perfectly. The first time I used the dishwasher it didn't leak. Unfortunately, the second time I did it leaked again. I am going to run it again tomorrow, but does anyone have an idea why it might still be leaking? Thanks

I pulled out the old gasket and pushed the new gasket in with my fingers and a little help from a flathead screwdriver. I went in fairly easily and now it doesn't leak. That simple. Thanks.

Removed the old seal, which was torn in the lower R corner. Simply applied new seal.

Time and heat had deteriorated the door gasket to a point where food was collecting in and around it - I had to remove the old one and clean weekly.

Door Gaskets are easy to replace, just pulled out the old one, cleaned out the slot and inserted the new one - Thanks!

Gently pulled the old gasket out. Cleaned up the area with general purpose cleaner. Placed new gasket in place. Very Easy great do it yourself task no repair call required!! Saved $$$$.

The gasket had already come loose. We were able to fit the new one in without any trouble. We were trilled that we did not need to pay to have someone out to replace the part.
