This part holds the cutting blades into place while cutting hair. If the blade feels loose or won't stay in place, then the Hinge Assembly needs to be replaced. To replace this part two Blade Hinge Screws (27864) will need to be removed. A Philips screwdriver is all that is needed for the replacement of this part.
