Carbon Brush Set

This is a Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part designed for use with Makita Belt Sander. It is Made out of Metal and it is Sold Individually. Due to constant contact, pressure and vibration this part should be inspected periodically and replaced if showing signs of wear to ensure optimum performance. When replacing Steel Plate it is advised to inspect the Cork Plate and replace it if it shows signs of wear. To replace this part you will need a Screwdriver. • Unscrew the Steel Plate that is being held by Three (3) Pan Head Screws. • Once it is removed simply replace it with the new one • Reattach it using the same Three (3) screws. Please note Cork Plate and Screws are Sold Separately.

Power Cord

This is a power cord, and it is used with several power tools. It is made of a thick rubber that is tough, and insulated for a long life. It has two 18 gauge wires, and is 8 feet long. When removing your old cord, take note of the wire leads placements, and how they connect to the receptacle in the tool. You will have to attach the new cord similarly.

Carbon Brush Set

Dust Nozzle

This is a dust nozzle for a belt sander, and it is sold individually. Keep in mind that the O-ring that secures the nozzle into the housing is sold separately. Your belt sander dust bag attaches to this dust nozzle. Its main function is to allow the bag to pivot so you can position it as needed while you are sanding. This plastic nozzle is clamped between the sanders housing and is generally only damaged if the sander is dropped by accident. This is a quick and simple repair that will require you to remove the side cover for access to the part.

Complete Backing Pad

This is a genuine Makita replacement part, it is sold individually. It has a soft foam pad with a metal backing. It has six vacuum holes for use with the 166078-4 Dust bag. It is remove by unscrewing four 266020-6 Screws. The sandpaper is held by two clamps on the base assembly.
