Spark Plug

This spark plug is used for lawn and garden equipment engines, such as trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, cultivators, edgers, tillers and power brooms. The spark plug delivers electric current from an ignition system to an internal combustion engine, basically igniting the fuel in the engine. With use, spark plugs can become dirty and fouled, if this is the case then replace your spark plug to solve this issue. Repair tip: you will need to gap your spark plug. Follow instructions in the manual provided by the manufacturer for further guidance.

Primer Bulb (For Ruixing Carbs)

This is an OEM primer bulb, and it is sold individually. Pressing the bulb removes the air out of the carburetor. Fuel is then forced from the fuel tank, which flows through the fuel line and into the carburetor. The extra fuel then goes back into the fuel tank via the fuel return line. Due to its constant contact with fuel and its rubber material, it can wear or crack over time, and will need a replacement.

This spring or container fits gardening tools such as a trimmer. The spring works to recoil a starter rope. If your spring has been worn out, it can lose tension and even break. If the spring breaks, the starter rope will not retract. To prevent this, it is best to replace the spring. The tools needed for this repair are: T25 Torx bit, spark plug wrench, clutch tool, and rope. For installation instructions refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer.

This air filter fits lawn and gardening tools to keep dust and debris from damaging and contaminating the carburetor. If dirt builds up, it can even effect the engine from working properly. To replace your filter, remember to place it in a plastic bag with some oil. Rub the oil into the filter and once you remove it, squeeze the excess oil out. *Please note: this is sold individually.

Fuel lines/filter shot. Came as a complete unit with fuel tank, lines & filter in one.

Loosened torx screws on engine bracket holding fuel tank in place.
Disconnected old fuel lines from carb and removed old fuel tank. (Keep the rubber tank cushions for use with the new tank)
Installed the new tank and connected new fuel lines to appropriate carb feed & return.
I also took the time to replace old air filter and spark plug with new ones (Plug gap .025)
Put new fuel in tank, started, reset LO/HIGH carb settings and idle speed.

Difficult - No Start

Replaced Spark Plug , Air Filter , Fuel Filter (inside Fuel Tank) all very easy. Replace collapsed Fuel Line. Have to re insert fuel line into smaller entry hole upper top of fuel tank and connect to male inlet barb at air intake. Challenging due to size. Lubricate fuel line for easier install.
