This is an authentic filter cartridge for an engine. Its purpose is to filter out dirt and debris from the air that flows through the machine and could be harmful to the engine. This part is commonly replaced due to wear and tear or from being clogged and restricting air flow. If dirt is able to reach the carburetor this can lead to bigger, more costly repairs, so it is wise to inspect the filter cartridge regularly and replace when needed (at least once a year). To access this part, you will need to remove the air filter cover. The new filter is then installed to the base by the rubber backing which fits over the posts and is pushed in with your hand to secure. A very quick and easy repair that will make a huge difference to the performance of your small engine.

Meaning, it is a resistor type with a 14mm shell design, 3/8-inch reach, and 13/16-inch hex. The heat range is 9 for automotive, small engine, and ordnance applications. The LM indicates 14mm (special for lawn mowers). Before making this installation make sure to drain fuel from the tank and remove the old spark plug.

Loosen the black screw on side of mower and remove the filter and foam. Insert both the same way old ones were positioned, paper part of filter pointing away from the side of mower, and foam with sponge side against paper part on filter. Gasket-Rocker Cover

This part includes one manufacturer-approved rocker cover gasket for a lawn tractor. This gasket is for the cylinder head where it creates a tight seal to protect the equipment from leaks. This is an OEM primer bulb and clip. It is attached to the engine air filter base. When the primer bulb is pushed, this fills the carburetor with fuel, making it easier to start a cold engine. This rubber primer bulb is known to harden and crack over time. For this repair you will start by removing the motor cover, air filter cover, air filter, and then the primer base. You will then use a screwdriver to release the clip holding the primer bulb in place. To install the new primer bulb, place the new clip so the ears are facing out, and then line the ears up with the openings on the base. You will then use your screwdriver to help snap it into place.
