right front burner did not work
I first ordered the wrong part (ceramic plug) which was clearly my bad but was sent a wrong part. I was impressed how quickly this was corrected (return postage was sent) and I ordered again. This order was quickly filled and I figured out my error. After ordering and receiving the right part (4 wire contact) I had a heck of the time g etting the range out and taken apart. The contact was clearly in need of replacement but this didn't solve the problem. Now that I was getting smarted I ordered a new infinite switch which solved the problem. Here's a tip for others, you can replace an infinite control on a S160 without dismantlement the range. Remove the four screws under the control panel (right above the oven) and pivot the whole thing out from the bottom.

Terminal for front burner not making contact with element.
Removed stove top and insert pans. Also unscrewed front piece holding controls and laid back for access to the wiring connections on the burner controls. Installed new wiring and terminals and reassembled. Provided wiring harness was not complete. Stove has a jumper wire crimped together from the rear burner control wire terminal to the f ront burner control terminal which was not included with the wiring harness. Also the blue wire was bare ended and did not have the plug terminal on the end of the wire. Had to acquire and install plug terminals for the black and blue wire and modify the black wire by adding the jumper wire. Note: cleaning takes longer than wiring installation.
