Oven heating slowly and not maintaining temp
Not a range but an oven (oven not a pull down choice on this site). Easy enough to remove old upper and lower elements. Replacing with new ones also easy with perfect fit. Only would caution to secure electric leads that clamp onto coils since they might slip back into oven wall and may be hard to retreive.

Dryer was making loud noises.
Basically I did it as shown in the video. I want to note that there was no blower wheel clamp on the broken blower wheel. This was the third time I have replaced that blower wheel, and lack of a clamp may have contributed to premature failure. Luckily, this time I watched the video before ordering parts so I knew about the clamp. Don't forget the clamp., Read more...

The oven burner would not light
Replace the ignition glowbar. Remove the drawer below the oven and disconnect the 2-wire plug near the back of the unit. Then open the oven and remove the racks. Release the 2 screws that hold the bottom plate of the oven in place and, lifting from the back of the oven, remove the bottom plate. You are now looking at the burner distributor. Remove the 2 retaining screws near the front of the oven and, with an upward motion, pull the distributor toward you to free it from the back of the oven. Then push it away from you and remove it . The ignitor is now in view at the back of the oven on the right side of the burner. Remove the 2 retaining screws and pull the wires up through the hole in the bottom of the oven. Installation is simply reverse of this procedure.

Needed to replace a faulty burner switch
Removed the old switch by unplugging the electric connectors to the switch, removed the palnut, and took the old switch out. Placed the new switch in, reconnected the electric connectors. Mounted the new bracket, trimmed the shaft to fit, tightened the new palnut, selected the new dial adapter that was suitable, put the old dial back on, and it was done! Very easy. Anyone can do it.
