This is a genuine OEM 40-Watt replacement light bulb that is compatible with various types of appliances. It has a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, making it easy to screw and unscrew by hand to replace. It is designed to tolerate extreme temperatures, which is why it is commonly used to light the inside of refrigerators and ovens. The idler pulley is found in your dryer and provides tension to the belt in order to rotate the drum. If your clothes are taking a long time to dry, the machine is noisy while operating, or the dryer will not start or tumble, there may be an issue with the idler pulley assembly. To replace this part, you will need to lift the top and remove the front panel of the dryer. You will want to take note of how the drum belt is positioned so it can be put back in place once the new idler pulley is in place. While you have the appliance opened up and accessible, you may want to consider replacing the drum belt at this time.

This heating element is a genuine OEM replacement part for your electric dryer. This element carries 5200W and 240V. A controlled electrical current passes through the coils, and the heat that is produced is then used to dry your laundry. If your dryer is running but not producing heat, there may be an issue with the element. Before beginning this repair, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your dryer. You will need to pull the dryer out far enough to easily access the back panel in order to complete this repair. Please note that they part does not include the two terminals and two adapter leads, these parts must be purchased separately.

Oven heating slowly and not maintaining temp
Not a range but an oven (oven not a pull down choice on this site). Easy enough to remove old upper and lower elements. Replacing with new ones also easy with perfect fit. Only would caution to secure electric leads that clamp onto coils since they might slip back into oven wall and may be hard to retreive. Read more...

Dryer was making loud noises.
Basically I did it as shown in the video.

I want to note that there was no blower wheel clamp on the broken blower wheel. This was the third time I have replaced that blower wheel, and lack of a clamp may have contributed to premature failure. Luckily, this time I watched the video before ordering parts so I knew about the clamp. Don't forget the clamp.,

The oven burner would not light
Replace the ignition glowbar. Remove the drawer below the oven and disconnect the 2-wire plug near the back of the unit. Then open the oven and remove the racks. Release the 2 screws that hold the bottom plate of the oven in place and, lifting from the back of the oven, remove the bottom plate. You are now looking at the burner distributor. Remove the 2 retaining screws near the front of the oven and, with an upward motion, pull the distributor toward you to free it from the back of the oven. Then push it away from you and remove it . The ignitor is now in view at the back of the oven on the right side of the burner. Remove the 2 retaining screws and pull the wires up through the hole in the bottom of the oven. Installation is simply reverse of this procedure. Read more...

Removed the old switch by unplugging the electric connectors to the switch, removed the palnut, and took the old switch out. Placed the new switch in, reconnected the electric connectors. Mounted the new bracket, trimmed the shaft to fit, tightened the new palnut, selected the new dial adapter that was suitable, put the old dial back on, and it was done! Very easy. Anyone can do it.
