This is a genuine OEM 40-Watt replacement light bulb that is compatible with various types of appliances. It has a frosted glass bulb with a standard metal socket base, making it easy to screw and unscrew by hand to replace. It is designed to tolerate extreme temperatures, which is why it is commonly used to light the inside of refrigerators and ovens. Depending on the appliance and location of the bulb, disconnecting the power is recommended. This bulb is sold individually.

If your oven is not coming up to temperature, has inconsistent or fluctuating temperatures, or just will not heat at all, there may be an issue with the bake element. This part is found at the bottom of the oven, and is the source of heat for your cooking and baking. This is a genuine OEM replacement bake element, but please note that new screws are not included with the part. You can either reuse the ones from the old element, or order new ones separately. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your oven before beginning this repair.

This is a factory-certified oven sensor kit with two harness adapters. Its purpose is to sense the temperature inside the oven. Replacing this part can fix an oven that is not reaching the proper temperature (too hot or not hot enough), not heating evenly, or an oven that will not start. To access this part, you will need access to the back of the range. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the access panel. Once the access panel is removed, you will notice a hole on the right side of the oven where the temperature sensor comes out of the oven. You will need to unplug the wire harness, and then open the oven door, locate it in the upper left corner, and remove the screws holding the temperature sensor in place. Pull the sensor out of the back of the oven, and replace it with your new part.

This flat style oven igniter kit is a genuine OEM replacement part for your gas range. When the igniter glows white hot, the heat opens the gas valve and ignites the fuel heating the burner assembly. If your igniter is only glowing orange or red, or not glowing at all, it will need to be replaced. This kit includes the igniter, ceramic wire nuts, an insulation pad, a metal bracket, and a variety of plug ends. This kit can be used for both short or long igniters, and the bake or broil element. However, it is not compatible with ranges that require round style igniters. The igniter has an amperage between 3.3 and 3.6. The element is very fragile and should be handled with care. Before beginning your repair be sure to disconnect both the power and gas supply to your range.

Rusted gas burners
Removed 4 burners from cooking module.A hammer works from the bottom of the burner to loosen up all the rust.Cleaned all the rust off the burner plate. Before installing the new burners. I filled the inside bottom cavity with muffler repair paste from Auto Zone.It comes in a plastic container. The purpose is to keep the burner from rusting over time when hot and exposed to air and failing again.Installed the burners in the pan and coated the exposed metal with same repair paste.Let the unit dry for 2 days.Installer ignitor parts.Installed gas feed tubes, Ground wire from both ignitor base screws to bottom cover screw. The purpose is to assure a good ground to base.Re-connected feed wire to ignitor base plugThe biggest cause of module failure is rust. Placed units back in the unit and no problems. All four burners fired right up.$190.vs $600 new modules. This will probably last for years.Jen Air is not going to be very happy that I won't be buying their whole module replacement package @ $300 each every three years. If you pay 3 grand for a cooktop it should last longerThanks guys for making individual parts available. It takes a little time but, in the long run, it's worth it! This infinite switch for eight inch range burners is almost three inches long. This infinite switch is for 8-inch range burners. When an element is unable to produce any heat on a modern oven, the problem may lie with the infinite switch. This switch is responsible for sending power to the surface elements. Check the element and terminal block to ensure they are working properly. If they are in working order, check the infinite switch at the control panel for any wires that have overheated, or broken terminals to or from the infinite switch. If the infinite switch is damaged or malfunctioning, it will need to be replaced. Remember to unplug your range before beginning this repair.

Heating element in electric stove oven broke in 2 pieces.
Ordered part which was delivered in 3 days. Called son to come and install. 7 days later son came to repair. I had watched video on how to install so I supervised(kibbitzed). He shut power off at fuse box, removed element with a screw driver, used pliers to release connection and then reversed procedure, installing the element. It took about 9 minutes. Were I younger than 82 and could bend and reach, I could have done it myself. Back to baking. Read more...
